    I've only recently heard about this game (though it's been out since last year) and from what I've read so far, it's an excellent remake of its Dreamcast predecessor. I'm thinking about purchasing it...

    What are your comments, etc. on it?

      I love(d) it. Although the story is somewhat cliché and done already, the concept still is good. The whole armade and their flagships are cool, Ramirez and other villian guy which the names escapes me from are just good villians ^^;

      I also like the influence of the moons and the countries beneath. The dark skies of Valua compared to the desert of Nasr and the beauty of Nasrad (favorite town) Plus your own base island and your own ship is also cool and just fun ^^;

      I really enjoyed it, although it could look better and the random encounters can somewhat annoy you, it's an epic game with a nice story and alright done characters. You'll like it ^^;

        THIS GAME IS AWESOME! I love this game. The thing that stinks is that the game itself is VERY hard to find! It took me 6 months and abou! I eventually found it after 6 months and 15 different stores! I finally found it at a Gamestop and it was the last one! So I was LUCKY!

          Hey, thanks! I had also read about using moonstones to change your characters’ attributes or spells (it sounds similar to djinn in GS, no?) and that sounded pretty unique.
          And NuMou Sniper, I hope it isn’t too difficult to find for me :smile:

          Anyway, thank you both! ;)

            Not really similair to GS

            You get the power of the 6 moons; blue, red, green, yellow, silver and purple. All corresponding with their area on the world map and their lands.

            You start out with a few moonstones but as you progress you get all types; They let you learn magick and have an advantage over your enemies. You can change your color's blade/weapon to one of those colors. Red is strong against purple enemies and such and the color of your weapon decides where your magick points go to, so fight the game with only color blue weapons and you only get blue magick...

            I suggest you start out with green though if you are going to do that :E green is healing magick ^^;

                Silver magic is pretty good too! It can revive your party members and take away special effects! Keep that in mind also!

                    Where the hell is this game!!?? I've been looking for it for months!! No shop has it, few have even heard of it, i need this game as i require a new RPG to satisfy my hunger of them, Tales of Symphonia would do too.

                      You should definetley try looking at a Gamestop store. That is where i got mine. And about Tales it is AWESOME i got it today. Back on topic Skies would most likely be at a gamestop. Got to Gamestopand go to their store locator.

                        Is it an American shop? All i have near me is Game and Gamestation and some shop that sells really rare RPG's like Chrono Cross, but not Skies of Arcadia.

                            Loved it...Beat it...Has many secrets but bad graphics...Ending wasn't bad...Ship battles are awsome...I found this game randomly...Not expecting anything of it but mere fun...I never even heard of it until I bought I about a year ago...

                              Okay, are you American and is there one near you?
                              If you're not American what country are you from then?

                                well I'm from sweden and I really never got any problems with finding it.
                                (I got so lucky and found it in a small shop just around the corner.) Anyway I think there should be a lot of them on the internet, I'd planed to buy i from there first.
                                I don't now about american websites but I now that the swedish site webhallen.se has it.

                                  you just revived a painfully old topic...you should be careful not to do that

                                  Skies of Arcadia was a good game and i enjoyed the storyline. I've played better rpgs but at the same time i've played worse
