I sort of agree with the results. I am center-right. Pretty cool that I am sorta close to Thatcher - one of my favourite political figures... I tried reading Milton Friedman Wiki, but my brain exploded.

Almost right in the middle. Sounds about right to me.

I sort of agree with it. I think it should be more of a personal responsibility rather than government forcing you.

Anyway, I'm slightly unsurprised by my results. Amazingly, I'm even more neutral than WD. :D

I took the test again, but there was only a slight difference.
What's up with that astronomy question though? Is it asking that astronomy can explain fate? I guess so, since it's in the religious section...

Hmm...
EDIT: That's weird...the image uploaded with the dot in a different place than my results showed...and I can't fix it. The dot should be lower than it is.
Well, here are my numerical results.

Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -3.59

Retook the test after reading up on ****loads of stuff; formulating my own theories and the like and this is what I've got:
http://www.politicalcompass.org/facebook/p...5&soc=-4.97
Economic Left/Right: -7.75
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -4.97
Seems about right; while I'm all for Liberalism, in this day and age it's hard to give people freedoms without them exploiting them. Since the world is so heavily focused on individualism instead of collectivism, everybody is out for themselves and nobody else so restrictions are necessary.

Hey you look like me earlier in the topic.
I'd take it again but I'm feeling lazy now, and I doubt my political views have changed that much. Maybe a little, but not much. I choose not to think about politics too much these days...

Either way, I still stand pretty much neutral, and this time I fully understood all but one or two questions.
The Political Compass
Economic Left/Right: 1.12
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: 0.51

And now I'm:

So, I'm pretty much the same as before, bit more left wing apparently, but still largely right wing.

It means you can't use dynamic links in [img] tags. Duh.
The website displays the image with a PHP script. You input the coordinates of the dot on the graph, and it'll render the image accordingly. The guy isn't going to use an individual image for every possible result. That'd require 1,000,000 different images.
Therefor, the image is rendered, and no link to a solid image is provided. So really, you're not putting an image between the [img] tags, you're putting a PHP script there.

There is a problem with it though. A lot of the questions (most of them, actually), can be interpreted in multiple ways. Some left, some right. Therefor, whether the answer to the question is deemed to be left, right, libertarian, or authoritarian is actually left up to the test designer. And thus, the test is flawed until the designer gives his viewpoints and insight into the meanings of the questions.
I'm pretty sure that if I knew what their stance on the questions were, I'd be more up and to the right on the scale.
