Yesterday my computer started acting up; a programme would freeze, and then a few seconds later everything would freeze and it would go to the BSOD. Throughout the day it got more and more frequent until I could start it up before it got the BSOD. It was no specific programme that was causing it to crash, however.

Today though, my computer stated that the CPU kept overheating in the startup screen. I've had this problem before, its because the fan keeps getting clogged with dust. After clearing out the fan of dust though, the computer is just not working at all. It does the brief startup screen where you can go to BIOS and Setup but then it goes to a black screen with a flashing line in the top left corner, and it's stuck on this screen indefinitely.

What's going on with my PC and how do I fix it?

      Usage notes

      * Usage of program and programme:
o US: program is the only spelling normally used. programme is occasionally used for sense 2, in an effort to appear exotic.
o UK: programme is used in all cases except for computer code, in which case program is generally used.

It's doing a barrel roll. Do a counter barrel roll.

No seriously, this is problably the same thing I've had a couple of times. Just unplug the screen and put it to a fan. Works every time for me.

                This.

Just unhook the screen, put it on a table or something and just let a fan blow at it for like 10 minutes. It's worked for me.

But if a fan worked for Nos, it wouldn't hurt to try it on your PC too Caael. Though I assume that the fan trick is meant to clear the dust out, and if you've already done that and are still encountering problems, a fan won't do anything.
