You're right though, I've tried everything in my hair and wax has worked the best, it just doesn't make the hair stiff enough to stay up like gel does.

It's technically not an all-boys school, it's just the campuses which are split; the guys have a primary and a secondary campus, and the girls have one campus for both. Then they both merge in Year 11-12 at another campus, which happens to be right next to ours. So we usually only see the girls in extra-curricular activites.

I played in a concert at the Art Centre the other night, we had to wait backstage for about three hours so I talked to some of the girls while I was there. It wasn't really that hard, though I guess you could say I don't understand them as well as most other guys do by now. Their minds work differently, I can tell that at least. They were pretty friendly to me though.

The northwestern states probably have the majority of the accent-less Americans. Up here, we pronounce everything pretty much the way it's described in the dictionary. the only thing that I can think of as far as what a Californian accent goes, is that sentences always sound like questions. Probably something similar to a northern British accent. But then again, I've never actually been to California either so....
