[Golden Legacy]

Hi everyone,

The forums are are long overdue for a post count recalculation. Tomorrow I will be doing this and other brief maintenance work. Be aware that there will likely be adjustments to your post count.

As an added bonus, I will also be revising the process slightly so that all posts - including those in The Common Room and Introductions/Leaving - will be counted. Those of you who have been curious about what your "full" post count is will get the chance to see it tomorrow, if it goes right.

So to clarify, Lobby posts will temporarily be counted, or is this permanent?

It won't be permanent, but I do not see the harm in leaving it for a few days or even a week. From what I can tell, it would require another adjustment to bring the post count to the original numbers, so I figure we'll make the best of the time in the meanwhile.

Interesting, why is the maintenance necessary?

Posts are deleted, topics are moved, forums are pruned, and so forth. Over time this adds up to some discrepancies in post count, so it's good to update the forum along the way. It's not critically necessary but more of a housekeeping item of business that hasn't been done in a while.

The artwork contest subforum we had forever ago is still there, in the trash forum. You might remember that Drizzy. I guess GL dumped the whole old RP supforum and with it, the character profiles were gone.
