Well, as far as I've checked, no one has posted a topic about this yet.

No doubt that most of you have heard of the newest Legend of Zelda game for Gamecube, the one with the return of adult Link. So...any thoughts about it?

I think it looks awesome. It has that whole dark quality about it, and they got rid of cell shading (yay) and went back to realistic. the trailer thingy is sooooo awesome.

Yeah, it is looking impressive, let's just hope it plays impressive. Knowing the Zelda series it probably will though.

If only Steve Balmer would go up to the CEO of Nintendo and ask, "How much do you want for the rights to Zelda? I've got the check right here. Name your price and we'll be going on our way." It looks great, but it would look better on the XBOX.

But yeah that game looks sweeeeeet!Has anyone heard there might be a top down view in dungeons?I saw a pic of it and it looked so nice and smooth!But if they can make link look THAT nice what about other characters like zelda and even just villagers?I'm giddy about that.

But I really wonder how there gonna do the battle system.I hope its traditional zelda with some new tricks thrown into the bag, but I'm really liking what they've done so far. Its very nice with the enemys and lighting effects.But I want to see more of what they'll do with structures and houses and such.And also the little things such as tree's and falling leaves and running water.

But if something as wild as Ninty selling zelda (Which would NEVER happen) came true, I think they would completely mess it up and it would stink like gym socks.Really.

Oh yeah, did you guys see in the trailer that sun had those real time lighting effects?*drool*

I remember you saying that you thought GS3 would be better on XBox also. =/ XBox would probably throw alot of gore into it and put Zelda in skimpy outfits. :P

Anyway, it looks great, but I do have to say I thought it was really, INCREDIBLY stupid about how much criticism WW received for it's cel-shaded graphics.

It's a sad day for video game industries when games are more rated for graphics rather than gameplay, I mean, don't we play video games for the GAME not the GRAPHICS? ;)

And I liked the graphics on Wind Waker...

EDIT: When I tried to show my dad why a I thought GC was better than XBox I showed this game to him. :D My dad is one of those graphic-obsessed guys.

:agitated: GC is so darn cheap today. You can get it for like $80 american. I got mine after barely any work. Save for a short while and you'll have one.

Pretty soon, the games will be more than the GC.

What I found funny was that all the people *****ing about how graphics aren't everything were the ones who criticized the cel-shading most.

Anyway, the XBOX is currently the best console there is (no, I'm not getting into the games and whatnot - that's a matter of opinion). It's got the raw power need for larger, more complex, and more detailed games than any other platform. Not to mention, it can do a helluv a lot more than the other two consoles, in part thanks to XB-Live.

I honestly believe the new Legend of Zelda game would be better if the programmers were given the resources of the XBOX.

Unless you hate Microsoft (which is stupid in and of itself), there's no good reason to hate the XBOX anymore. They all have their strong points. The PS2 has a vast library of games, the NGC is cheap and has plenty excellent quality games, and the XBOX has a load of raw power and a nice handful of smash-hit titles among other good games.
