[Golden Legacy]

Seeing the many topics that involve this one way or another, I decided to post this for future reference.

Okay, if you do NOT transfer your data from GS1 to TLA, here will be the status of Isaac, Mia, Ivan, and Garet, when you join up with them at Jupiter Lighthouse/Contigo:

Isaac:

Djinn:
Four Venus Djinn: Flint, Quartz, Vine, Ground
Five Mercury Djinn: Fizz, Mist, Spritz, Hail, Dew
Five Jupiter Djinn: Breeze, Zephyr, Smog, Squall, Luff
Four Mars Djinn: Forge, Fever, Scorch, Torch



As you can see, if you don’t transfer your data, Isaac’s team proves to be pretty mediocre (big surprise there, I know). Level 28 is a reasonable, decent level, but the lack of a certain number of djinn really hinders. Note that it is possible that the djinn are random, but stay relatively the same.

The more important note, however, are the psynergy items, which I denoted in blue.
These are the only psynergy items that Isaac’s party comes equipped with!
The Lift Gem, for example, is needed at Magma Rock. Any “optional” psynergy items (the best and most obvious example is the Orb of Force) will NOT be available.

That's what really sucks about not transfering data. I know that some players are tempted not to input a password because they're in a hurry or something and don't have time, but if that's the case, just use the Bronze password, even though it kinda sucks.

I feel so lucky I have a cable! :P

However, anybody with the brains to do it, and the internet, should enter a password the internet if they don't have GS1, and if they don't have the internet, they wouldn't even know what they are missing in TLA, so I feel no pity for them :ph34r:

You don't really have to use the cable to transfer, if you know the pass. :unsure:"

What I posted is of the assumption that you do not transfer your data in anyway, either by password or via a link cable.

I know, but anybody with the internet, and the brains to go to a gaming site, would either have their own password, a cable :unsure: , or would go to a gaming site which has passwords, so really, unless somebody is really stupid, nobody with the internet should go without a password.

Pass transfering is good, best there is actually....

GS: TLA is much harder if you dun transfer

PS : Don't do bronze, not good, do silver or gold (gold is way better)

SO don't do bronze in anyway, is very bad...

If you do gold make sure you do it right the first time You don't want to input the whole thing over again.

Yes, I remember I couldn't read the password I had written :) stupid handwriting...

And basically, I posted this just for a reference, especially on the note of the Psynergy...

Another thing you could do...
Get two GBAs (or borrow a friend's) and just copy from one to another. It's a lot easier than trying to interpret your own writing...

it's true, alotta easier, but if you can dude DO IT with password and cable it's heavy important stuff, unlocks alot of the game...

I tried wat u said and yes u cant get all the djinn in the game cause of orb force now special items(like golden boots and shirt) no super summons(wats the point if u dont get the cool summons) Yea a real drag, but i still beat the game.(So what if ppl who dont know about GS and buy TLA and know they cant get all the stuff in the game..big drag <_<)

Getting all the Djinn makes the game better, and longer.
