I thought Camelot was gonna wuss out and only tell you one of each of the main character's parents, but it looks like they decided to give shippers the middle finger. :P Still, I always figured that they'd pair them up.

Anyway, I guess the question now is, why are most of the warriors from Vale in Kalay?

But seriously something big is going down in Kalay. I think we all knew it was gonna be Jenna. But what about the other kids, who are their parents? And what about Amiti? Why was Himi seeing visions of Isaac? Soooooo many unanswered questions?

Amiti's father is Alex as far as I know. Tret said Rief and Amiti were related, and the only relative of Mia we know of was Alex. The King of Ayuthay also stated that his father was a powerful water adept.

Tyrell is obviously the son of Garet, though we don't know who his mother is. Also (obviously) Karis is the daughter of Ivan, though again, we don't know who her mother is. Sveta's parents were likely not mentioned in the first game as the conversation regarding them revolved around the warriors of Vale going after a Roc feather, which didn't happen during the first two games. Still no clue on Rief's father, though. And since I haven't come across Himi yet, I don't have any speculations.

[EDIT] Himi is obviously the daughter of Susa and Kushinada. Also, I shouldn't need to point out Eoleo's parents. :P

It was quite a bold move by Camelot to pair up a couple from the previous games. A pleasant surprise too, as Jenna and Isaac was probably the most favored pairing. (Though as a former Mudshipper way back when, there's a part of me a tad upset).

It seems as though none of the other characters have paired up - obviously, Garet with Mia and Ivan with Mia never happened.

Anyone think Felix with Sheba may happen in the inevitable Golden Sun 4?

I suppose we're left wondering who Karis's mom, Tyrell's mom, and Rief's father, are. Seing as Amiti's dad is very likely Alex, and the other four's parents are accounted for.

I think it's still likely that Sheba paired up with Ivan, but I guess we'll see. Though apparently Felix took off somewhere to do his own thing from what I remember, so I don't see a Sheba/Felix pairing being very likely. Though it might be likely that we'll see Nowell and Piers together. :P

I love it how Kraden is considered a genius and it still took him incredibly long to figure that Arcanus is in fact Alex. Finally determining it with some wierd trivia about a card game instead of just memory.

From what I understand, he had it figured out some time before the Eclipse Tower was activate. When in the room where Hou Ju (or whoever she was) was being held, the party starts discussing the antagonists. They bring up Arcanus and Kraden says "Oh, is that what he's calling himself now?" And then says something clever about it or something.

That's true I guess. I was just baffled by the sudden knowledge on card games and the random deduction.

We all know Briggs and Chaucha are the parents, but is Chaucha in the game? I didn't bother looking for her though.

I think she died or something. And yeah, I remember reading somewhere that Arcanus had something to do with cards of some sort.

Felix fucked off after GS2 as far as I'm aware. "Not been heard of since the rise of the golden sun" or something. Either a 'Chekhov's gun' move or just because he has no further story.

I think Camelot are gonna put the jump on us in GS4 with weird pairings, like Garet and Feizhi or some weird shit like that. Actually Ivan and Feizhi would make SOME sense.

If they do it at all, it'd kind of have to be with some of the supporting characters. I can't see too many other pairings, since all of the original 8 and their kids (if they had any) have been mentioned separately, save for Isaac and Jenna (who paired up), and Felix and Sheba (who haven't been mentioned much). Piers didn't have kids, Mia and Garret didn't pair up. Ivan likely didn't pair up with anyone form the original 8 (if it was sheba, they would've said by now), and that covers everybody.

Though I could probably see Feihzi and Ivan, since Feihzi was a student of Ivan's sister.

One of the things I was wondering was if the new bunch (Amiti, Himi, Sveta, Eoleo) are going to be use in GS4. The big goodbye scene at the end kind of suggests they won't, or maybe limited to a quick appearance.

Amiti's father story is quite an interesting one however.
