1) What do you mean by quest? Like a storyline or adventure mode? If you do mean that, then the answer is no. The focus is on community and interaction, and we feel that at this time it would not be appropriate to be introducing individual player quests at this time.

2) There is no battle system in the game, please read the FAQ on the GSW site.

1. I think the whole point of not telling everyone everything is to keep the "current plans" a secret. I'm not even sure the "current plans" are final so it would be pointless to tell you anyways.
2. I don't know but it would be cool. Kind of like the quest system in SwOM.

That is definitely an option we're looking into at the moment and when going through the technical aspects of the game, it's already possible to do it. We just need to see if it's fun enough to do and especially if it's going to be possible before Beta launch. More on these matters will be featured as newsitems on the GSW website.

okay, i'm not max or aveneR but i think i can clear things out a bit...
the beta (as i've heard) will be MAINLY based on a INTERACTIVE game.
somewhat like "sims online" where you INTERACT with people.
I dunno if max or AveneR will consider doing something like quest or battle but what you SHOULD be expecting is a LOT of interaction... like this...

The quest idea would be good though, and it would go hand in hand with the fact that they can edit maps on the server whenever they want. So you could, say, have some landslide, and some random guy want you to help move the rocks or something.

I think some of you are expecting too much from GSW. It isn't a massive massive massive online game being made by an entire group of game programing experts :D.

Due to certain circumstances, I can't give a clear answer on questions 1 and 2 at the moment, but nothing is impossible.

The "battle" question seems to be a popular one. Let me just tell you that it is really not for sure if it's ever going to be made. We might implement it later on but it's certainly not a certainty.

Hmm I have a question.. Is their going to be seperate servers in the game? It might get really crowded in just 1. I think alot of people are gonna be playing it.

It might get crowded indeed and we'll have to wait and see what happens to the game then. We're using one server at the moment but are looking into using a second one and balancing the load.

As AveneR said, we are going to start with one and see how it works out. The server we are using is a dedicated server which also hosts some other websites, but it should rarely go down and should have very good connection speeds. However, if the load becomes too great we will look into adding more servers to balance the load better.

1) Only one town at first. A village more accurately, but it will still have many houses/buildings as listed on the Features page on the GSW site.

2) There is no need for elements, because there is no battling.

3) I believe you mean "How many players will be able to play at GSW?" The answer is however many are online. The only limit is how much the server can handle, and I doubt we would get enough people to really stress the server much at all (would take >200 to start making it sweat).

About versions

Let's say when you launch its ognna be version 1..... Will you update?
like? version 1.1 or Version 1.5 andl ater Version 2 which is better and I still wannak now with what you're doing it what programming language?

1.They said they were thinking about putting in side quests kinda things
2.I think they just gonna update with the same version (I am just pretty much guessing there sorry)

We are going to use an incremental version number system like almost every software project uses. The first betas will start at pre-1.0 (something like 0.6) and then when we feel we have reached a solid version it will be version 1.0. After that we will start considering adding new features and expanding upon things.

You need to start a different account at the GSW site to play, so you can choose a different name if you want, but I plan on keeping my name Wind Dude so everybody from GSS'll say, "Hey, it's good 'ol Wind Dude! Hi Wind Dude!" and such. ;)

Yeah, you can if you want to, that's not a problem at all. There is going to be a character limit though which is likely to be set somewhere around 8 to 10 characters, so if your forum name is longer than that, you'll have to think of something else or use an abbreviation of some sort.

Yes, that's about right, although you have to log-in with your username and password each time you want to play ofcourse. Before you're able to run around in the GSW, you have to register your username via the GSW website. The registration page will be on-line when the game is released.
