I know! The closest Isaac gets to talking is expressions?!$... In a way it's creepy. I was beginning to think that Isaac ( GS )and Felix ( GS2 )were mutes. Felix only talks once in all of GS2 ( not including end ) and I don't think Isaac talks at all. But in the second game Isaac talks alot.

that's because you are isaac and felix in the games...what is it gonna do, talk for you?? that's why you get an option of yes or no for things, other then that, they can't say anything, cuz they're you. does that make sense??? srry, i'm tired...

The newer members are so incompetent. Isaac never talks to add personality. They are trying to make you feel like you're in the game (hey, you can name Isaac after you).

I agree with you, but could you be less...I don't know, critical? I mean, that there is flaming. Calm down a bit. It makes it that way because if Isaac/Felix spoke for you, it could be different from what you're feeling, and not reflect yoru personality. I like it that way, but the 'Yes' or 'No' questions do get rather lame.

like what?? afterall, like meglo said, if they say something for you, it might not be what yur feeling...so the extent would prolly only be "i agree" or "i don't think so"...not much better...

Link doesn't talk in LOZ either; no one finds that strange.

But that is for another topic...

It's implied he talks...for example, something like

"So Link, will you please aid me in my quest?"
                      (silence)
"...you will? That's great. Thanks you link. :)"

And such. He actually does talk in Ocarina of Time...when Zelda asks for your name you relpy ". . .(Name here [yes, he speaks in bold green])"

they do that in GS too. they'll meet like a mayor or something, and then he'll be confused, and then you see isaac has "..." and then all the sudden he understands. but then again at least they don't waste time saying the whole story over and over again.

maybe they're mind readers :) jk

You make the decisions for Isaac so he has no need to talk, it's the same with Felix on tla, it's just a copy of Link's character from the Zelda games.

Ya He really dosn't need to talk but sometimes when you give them the wrong answer they repeat the question over agian, and again, and again. They Won't let you answer wrong.

yes it has been confusing me to y isaac never speaks....(maybe it cause he has nothing usefull to say)but in gs2 he can speak and he speaks like hez the best(which i think he is) and plays a good leader. ALso Felix speaks to not alot but he does say stuff well at the end of the game <_<

I thought it was quite funny after the stars were stolen and isaac and garret were explalining what happened to the elders in the sanctum...when they start running around in circles and then bump into eachother...why were they running in circles to begin with?

Yeah, that adds more Fun into the game and story, The game would be pretty straight foward otherwise.

Well, something like that... I dont know how to explain things.
