The story is pretty lame, but the gameplay is some of the best you can find. The missing rumour glitch is one of the most annoying glitches in any GBA game, and to get everything in it you need a link cable and a thorough guide (plenty of things can just fly by you, never yo be got again), but I have no regrets about my purchase.

No exploring towns or the world.
Not a remake of FFT for PS.
Gets tedious trying to do all missions.
All in all 4/5
I haven't heard of the Missing glitch? What is it?

Anyways, no exploring, jobs are done well, battle system great, graphics great, all in all, 8/10 for it's own game, but 6/10 if compared to FFT.

Weapons/Equipment in FFTA: Not very good for a tactics game. The names arent very good for the weapons, and the tequniques you get from the weapon take a VERY long time to set up for each character you use. Then there is setting a new weapon for each character after they get the technique, and that takes a while too. Tactics Ogre has the best weapon selection of any tactics game. FFTA came nowhere close to that.
Gameplay: Storyline was extreme crap. Kids get sucked into a book, they all have dumb names and looks (Marche, the evil kid's hair, that annoyingly dumb moogle,) but the chick was hot. Very hot. Im not sure how old she was, like 15 or 16 (i hope). Okay anyways, the battling got old fast. The courses got repetitive, and they had cheery, hooray! type of music, not uh oh! we're under attack and any of us could die at any moment! That was another thing: No one can die in those battles. The "judges" prevent death in battle, which was EXTREMELY dumb. The courses were all very similar to each other, with green grass and water in half of them, and a hill in the other half. No dark, spooky forests with ghosts and creepy music, just cheery plains and hills with no chocobos. WHERE ARE THE CHOCOBOS!!!
Missions: Those got really annoying. You need specific weapons or items to play each one. I couldnt find the right items for one couse that i got at the beginning of the game until i was almost done.
Multiplayer: Absolutly horrible. You couldnt face each other, only team up.

Great visuals, audio, exceptional gameplay, fantastic depth and character control. All it lacks is a great story, as the story is pretty overdone (boy goes to other world, boy wants to get back to real world etc.)
Oh yeah, and there has already been 2 topics on this I think...

Get dawn of Souls instead ;)
Truth be known, I don't think Dawn of Souls was around when this topic was made. Heh. One of the magical and utterly pointless reasons for reviving REALLY old topics. lol
