Square-Enix announced a while back that it plans on remaking Final Fantasy I and II for the GameBoy Advance, set to come out by the end of 2004/beginning of 2005.
err, there are actually two Final Fantasy II games that were released in the United States... I'll have to check which one...
anyway, I personally can't wait ;)

Well it was pretty obvious that they would. Final Fantasy is onw of the biggest series of games in existence, of course they would bring over a GBA game.

I really wanted to try out FF1 for the wonderswan...Oh wells...
FF1 for the NES isn't to my liking...Its kind of slow...and blands...FF2 never came out so how am I supposed to know?...

I also heard rumors that the graphics were to be slightly enhanced. But these are just rumors, mind you.

If they should convert and FF games onto GBA, it should be 4,5 and 6, as they were the best pre-next-gen system games. 1,2 and 3 were all crap graphics and slow, but if you iron out those problems, speed it up, add some great visuals, you could a have a good game on your hands.

Final Fantasy IV was released for the PS1 (called Final Fantasy Chronicles), which was a remake of Final Fantasy II- the easy version (U.S.) (more on that later), which was for the SNES.
FF V and VI were released for the PS1 as Final Fantasy Anthology- Final Fantasy VI is a remake of Final Fantasy III (U.S.).
