Well I finally got Teleport (yells rolls on floor), but now I'm having dilemma and I need you GS Gurus to help.

I teleported to Islet cave, and I'm in the long hallway. I'm trying to get the Tisiphone Edge from the Cruel Dragon for Jenna. I have followed one of the RNG methods on GSSyndicate (under Secrets), but every time I'm done and I see the Curel Dragon flash those psychedelic colors I don't get the weapon.

Can anyone help me with this? I would sure appreciate it. Thanks.

No, there's a special system you use that isn't working.

It's impossible to get a Tisiphone Edge by normal means, I.E. just attacking the enemy. Since the ICC class of the item drop is 9, you need to defeat the monster with a djinni unleash to even stand a remote chance of getting the Tisiphone Edge.

And RNGs? 31 is the universal RN in The Lost Age, so you need to perform specific actions so the Cruel Dragon dies on the 31st RN. See nick1presta's guide to RNGs in The Lost Age help or Link Kirby's guide to RNGs in gamefaqs.com for details, and methods.

I think that dcgames means that he's tried the gss cheat and it didn't work, MW.

Oh, and I already tried the method described here on the GSSyndicate site (but I have the problem I listed in my first post - no weapon drop):

When the battle starts do this sequence of attacks:

Issac - Quake Sphere
Jenna - Cycle Beam
Ivan - Shine Plasma
Mia - Glacier

The monsters should not attack. Next turn:

Isaac - Earthquake
Jenna - Unleash Fury on the monster you want the item from
Ivan - Shine Plasma
Mia - Attack the monster that will be alive after Fury

If you attacked the Cruel Dragon like this you should get the Tisiphone Edge and if you attacked the Druj you should get the Berserker Band.

3. I have multiple reasons why it didn't work. One may be the fact that that doesn't add up to 31 RNs. Another is that you need to encounter a Cruel Dragon and one other enemy. If you did encounter another enemy, the chain of RNs is probably broken by the term "Felix's Party attacks first!" not showing up. Yet another reason is that...

It's just plain wrong.

You're supposed to unleash Fury on the monster to kill it, not to weaken it. If you did it right, it'll flash 2 colors and it's ICC will be reduced by 2 levels, making the Tisiphone Edge possible to get.

That's exactly what doesn't work. Besides, the cheat says its the attack by mia that's supposed to kill it.

wow geez, I'm tired, this is my last post, i'll check all other posts tmmrw. The tisiphone edge is one SOB to get. The whole killing with the enemy's weakness of djinn only increases the chance of getting the all mighty tisiphone edge. I personally didn't bother with all the *cough* 100% guarantee RNG's *cough*. I mean, I got the lachesis rule (if the tisiphone edge is hard, you'll luv this one) from two mad demons, despite many *cough* 100% guarantee RNG's *cough* saying otherwise. Patience is the key here, but it is sooo worth it, it's unleash when it hits all the time is sometimes more powerful than sol blades unleash. me sleepy, g'nite. :angry:

:angry: Well...to tell you the truth...all I did was fight. :(;; I didn't use any cheats or anything...I was just training my characters, and then I got the Tisiphone Edge...twice.

How I love fighting the Wonder Birds. Getting 20,000 (higher) exp. points :huh: what fun it is fighting them!

Actually, the fractional value for a 31st RN without using the DP method (Djinn to kill) is 1/256. You can attack by normal means (anything you want) and you will have a 1/256 chance to get the item.

Second. Follow my guide. I even included a sample RNG method for the Tisiphone Edge.

This isn't hard guys. You need 31 RNs. Look at my guide to see what comsumes how many RNs and ADD. I assume you can add?
