So when you have too many items, or need some more money... you can open your own shop! I don't know if this has already been sudgested, but I think it would be a cool feature.

Edit: You'd need to pay money to build a shop though, and then you'd need to pay rent every once in a while too. And if you would rather explore the town than wait for people to come in and buy stuff at your shop, you could hire someone to keep the shop while you do other things, but you'd have to pay them a portion of your income.

Sounds like a good idea but a ton of work. Maybe it should be included in an updated version.

I was thinking of it being like a garage sale, you know, selling unwanted items that you don't need anymore, but it would be cool to also order stuff for your shop to sell, like in real life.

There will likely be a cap on items in the first release so that you can't get more than x amount of items (x has not yet been determined). In the future we will have it so that you can store items in your bank account.

Yeah, and now that I think about it, an Auction would be better, since technically you can already sell your items to the shopkeepers.

                  Bank accounts? That's cool. ^_^

AveneR said that the shopkeepers were cheap though, so I just thought that it would be a better idea to sell your unwanted stuff in a shop to get better profit.

                      Two liners ok? :P

A very good idea, but, it seems to limited. Your shop should be an actual rug/carpet, and it should be stored as an item. You ought to be able to pick it up and put it down wherever you like, that way you can get more business. The only thing is, the rug would be quite expensive. Probably 5000 coins or some outrageos amount of money only obtainable through slots.

It's a good idea and everything but then the game would be:
Golden Sun: hold your perfect garage sale....
instead of Golden sun: save the world of weyard
in my opinion the second is better :silence:

Oooh, this is a pretty old topic now.

Well, anyway, turns out my idea won't work unless GSW turns into a sort of a MMORPG. (very unlikely)

The best thing to do would be to trade items and money. Like buying an item, ya?

Perhaps just buying a house would solve this problem? Or being able to visit your home in Vale?
