there coming out with a new gta game called san andreas, anyone think its gonna be good?

Personally, anything after Vice City will be boring. I mean, it's fun and all to run around shoot innocent people, hurting cops, blowing up cars, stealing, getting "brains" and whatnot, but common, this game gets boring after a while. The story is pretty null, and the graphics aren't GREAT.

No, I'm not looking forward to this.

Yea the Grand theft Auto series have bad graphics but the PC's are great.
I have the GTA series except the first one but they are basically the same...kill shoot...do missions...but i'd like to see what they improved on it.

I think there are too much GTA games. The story is stupid, and it gets boring after a while.

My favorite starting in Vice City:

Walk up to an old man in the streets and punch him to death, take his money, get a car, and run over people. It's hillarious to see a person walk up to an old man, and without warning, punch the frail thing to death. Just imagine it.

So I am, thats like saying there's too much Mario and Zelda anyways, the story is repeated alot, but thats the main point of GTA, to do bad things ;)

For a guy who like bad @$$ killing games, I'd have to say, GTA jus aint mah deal.


Show, you kill and all, but I it looks pretty sorry n graphics, it was fairly boring "no feel of killing", fairly odd graphics, not so suprising speicial effects, slow @$$ cars, and all that. Only reason its peopular is becasue of the CONCEPT.

I found better replay value and killing fun in Robotech BattleCry. It had more feel in killing and had much more intence action I belive.

I don't see how the older ones got a 10. 10 dosen't fit into the game, epxecially when there are better games out there. "Vice City"

As for san andreas, it looks great but its not going to be any different other than the expanded world.

And a few otehr things you oughta find out yourself.

Altogether, this game is nuthin but show and concept. Sure the missions are liek, you know what I mean. But still its not good enough to top the otehr bad qualities over.

I disagree the graphics in the game r pretty good but i do agree on that because of the concept of being able to go anywhere at anytime made the game as good at it is.

i think the game will rock and i love it, i just kill people in the game because i imagine them as sprites, and not real people, so i dont even think how can people assassinate in real life. i dont like the idead of stealing other peoples cars. in vice city, i take a heli ride and then go looking for PCJ600 and start trippin' over all the cops and gang membas, specially in little haiti its hilarious when i go in the vespa delivering pizzas i go next to a group of haitian guys and they start running after me on foot! really cool just isnt when they catch you ^_^ anyway the story might be boring, but its summer, and thats pretty much the essence of the game, if it was a normal city with autumn environment it would be cool to play in, would it? and if you count those cool mods like the one that changes the ***gio into a wheelchair, its hilarious! spectacular! i just dont like san andreas because it looks like the story is going to be around ghettos, and those kinda environment i dont really like. vice city was luxury, san andreas is the reverse side of the medal. anyway ill give it a try.

Yeah, SA rocked. One of those games where oppurtunties were endless, fun was limitless and sex was plenitful. Then you come across a freakin' mission that you JUST CAN'T PASS and go on a missile drivin shooting spree in the Harrier jet you just cheated for ;)

Yeah GTA:SA rocks! I love having two players and go on motorcycles and mow down other people on motorcycles. It's jsut so funny seeing all those bodying flying in the air and diying at the same time lol. And wouldn't you think MR that your reviving year old topics is kinda useless?

Well there is a funny thing me and my friends did, the 2nd player was he creepy pale guy, we would get a sword and chop the 1ts players head off then when he'd come back he'd have no head and bleed everywhere, then we make em kiss and it'd look like the creepy guy was eatting his head lol. Well, I tried out the PS2 version yesterday(geeze I hate PS2 controllers, and I remember it every time I pick one up, I'll try it on Xbox soon), and really, I didn't feel like it was all too interesting. Sure, I had fun once I FINALLY hijacked my first car, a station wagon, and had this huge thing barreling down the road running over pedestrians, but the gameplay seemed very empty. Then again, I never even knew what the mission was, so I couldn't have even done anything to know what the real gameplay was like.

Anyways, I really dislike how you can't go indoors. I never once found a building I could enter, and that ticked me off. I know the main game is outside, but it seems like I should be able to raid a house or visit a music store or even hold up a bank. Anywho, I'll try renting this game sometime if I ever pick up an Xbox, or an Xbox360. And I'm also ticked that the PS3 controller still has the main joystick underneath the D-pad. It's like Sony is thick headed or something. <_<

I loved this game, and I think that the storyline was the best out of all the other GTA games, and there are millions of buildings to go into like cluckin bell and that other pizza place and also a burger shop. You can even go and gamble in Casinos when you get to Las Venturas, and for a some missions you get to go into buildings ( almost forgot to mension the gym to work out and places to buy clothes) there are so many places to go to. Just keep playing the game, trust me you will love it.

What luck, I'm playing it right now and thought I'd make a topic but it's here already. This game is great, you can't argue with that. It may bot be your style, but fact remains the GTA series just owns. San Andreas is gangsta too so that makes it even more appealing to me. ;D

Yeah, it's a good game cause you can finally bulk up that guy from the last game was puny if you look what you can get know :silence: :unsure:
Plus the new regular, new missions, new cars, new city and new ways of getting around. So GTA SA is a good game and better then Vice City in my opinion but that was a good game also -_-

I really loved this one because it was street gangs instead of mafias and organized crime ( if you didnt know, I hate organization) and my dream was to go to Las Venturas, a gamblers paradise.

I'm at Los Venturas now, nearly completed the main game and my competion percent is still just 43%! That means after the main game I have ALOT of sidemissions to do. :S

San Andreas is the most overated game EVER! It's good but it's not perfect, the strong urban reference didn't go down well with me and there isn't an awful lot of things that weren't in Vice City, a lot of the new things are crap anyway.

To have a chance of getting big bucks in the casinos you need to collect Horseshoes. I have 2 so far, but those were by chance. After I complete the game I will focus on collecting them all.

They increase your luck, it's all about the horseshoes. Once you get all of them you can get some big bucks.

I also forgot to ask. If anyone went to Las Venturas, did you complete the heist missions on the Caligula. I didn't because, I had to steal that helicopter and that part is really hard.

I'm doing the hesit missions but I don't think I'm up to the Helicopter one yet. I've saved those British dudes from the desert and oh my gawd are those guys hillarious or what! XD

Did you do the part where he gets out of the car to throw up? I couldn't stop laughing ;). Anyway, after you do the mission where you shut down the power at the dam, you have to steal a helicopter, and that has to be the hardest mission in the game ( for me it was). You don't have to do these missions, but there fun anyway.

Well I want to get 100% completion so I want to do them. Yeah when he pulls over and vomits it's hillarious, but I like the other guy. When they're in the car they're saying:

"So does this 'Rosie' have big tits then?"

"Rosie's a man you stupid pr1ck. Oh for the love of God stop touching yourself!"

Oh, that one guy has a problem with "touching", anyway did you do the mission where you have to kill ryder? It was sad killing a sort of good friend, but fun watching his boat explode! ;)

Yeah that missions is way back at the second area. He betrayed me so I didn't feel sad, he was supposed to be one of my homeboys and he was a two-timin' little Spoon. I took great pleasure in blowing the crap out of him.

The problem with that mission was after you complete it, you have to go back, and if you make a tiny wrong turn or go close to the naval base when you're going back to shore you get 4 stars automatically. It was so annoying.

I never got close to the base, but it was a long ride back because i chased him all the way back to Los Santos :) . It took me about fifteen minutes to get back.

Too bad you can't swing it around at super-sonic speeds to deflect on coming bullets. That would be sweet.

Mission-wise, I got up to the second city (it's name escapes me at the moment).
If you ask me, GTA is the best game ever created - for about a week, then despite it's massive diversity, it gets boring.

I have to agree, that after a while of playing the game, it can get tedious and boring. The missions after the second city are really fun, though. ( Good luck, in Pilot school, you WILL need it.). Since I already beat the game, all I do is go around across the state ( almost like a road trip, with people from my gang.) and we cause chaos.
