The game should really have a filter which prevents naughty sentences from being shown, or at least changes the naughty words into asterisks. 'Cause I've been hearing some inapropriate chatter from some of the users...

I agree. The group I was hanging out with was pretty good...we tested this just in case...and I believe that a swearing filter would be a good addition.

yes, a very good idea, in the next version there will be mod's though so it might not need to be there

I already asked AvenueR about this and the reply was that people will always find a way around a word filter.

That's true...Very good point. I suppose it would be a waste of programming...the idea of MODs though is very good...but I say they don't tell us who those MODs are. That way, the people that swear a lot are caught off guard.

So? It will still stop the people who just swear for the heck of it, and it serves as showing people it's not allowed there. If someone swears and it's not edited, they'd assume it's okay.
Once we have mods, I think that a swear filter should be up, and mods can pound people who get around it.

Yes, it is getting off topic, but I think we know who pushed it here by posted off topic in the first place...I believe this topic is for discussing getting a filter for GSW conversations.

I know how you feel and I've also gave it some thought, but as you can see, my comments about this are already in here. I think it's a waste of time to actually create a good swear filter. But, I'm working on some sort of option in the game where you can create your own word censor list thing. Don't count on it though, for I am not sure it's going to be in the next release.

Will cursing be an offense though? I mean, will moderators crack down on people for excessive or offensive swearing?
