GSW needs an online list on the interface. You don't know who's online unless you search every room, which is very annoying. It would also help if it told you the location of the person you're looking for :unsure:.

Yes i very good idea indeed, i geuss it wasnt that nessicary for the test cos it was a small town, but when the the bigger, real thing comes out it should definately be there.

To make a useful contribution....

I like this idea, but it should be hidded off to the side, maybe with a tab to click on to pull it out. That way it won't obscure your vision unless you're looking through it.

Another thing to add. If people are still running around be pricks couldn't this be used as a 'stalker' tool? Or would you have a buddys list that only them could have access to see if your online or not?

you have both. If two people add each other to their buddy lists, their location is shown, it alerts you when they get online, and you can send each other private messages. Otherwise it just says who's online.

And the online list would have to be hidden untill you bress a button. it isn't practicle to have it open all the time ;).

I concure! I feel that it is important to know who is where at what time. So that it will give me the ability to catch up with curtain freinds and stay away from those who I don't wish to socialize with.

yup, it does seem like a really good idea...cause, i mean, GSW is supposed to be and "enhanced" chatroom...and all this features would surely make it what it ought to be

there were two original reasons for this idea:
1) so you can see if anyone is online before you waste your time searching all the houses.
2) you can see if a friend is online, or someone you wanted to talk to.

well...the beta will, in my opinion, most surely still have the text box to type in a message, which everyone sees...so, even if you on't want to talk to someone, that doesn't stop them from talking to you...

I don't think Private Messaging is so important, because then people might spam you through that, but I would like to see the buddy list make it in there.

Good idea, it get's annoying when people like me come online and then hide, so there is no way to tell who is listening o.o.
