    Goombas, Pirahna Plants, Yoshi and Chain Chomp are ALL in LoZ: Links Awakening...
    I think this is really dodgy.

    Oops... Forgot Kirby as well, well it ANTI-Kirby but hey...

          I didn't notice because 1) I dont own the game and 2) I seriously didn't notice.

            i remember the chain chomp in LA, maybe there will be stalfos in the next mario game.

              You can see Samus, Link, Culex, and even an OG version of Mario in Super Mario RPG.

                I remember the chain chomp; you had to take care of it for some lady.

                But I never noticed the yoshis or goombas.

                  Yoshis - In the form of dolls in the Trendy Game, starting that sweet trading sequence.
                  Chain Chomp - Bow Wow the 'Dog'
                  Kirby - Enemy in Eagle's Tower
                  Rest - Monsters in dodgy horizontal 2D sections.

                      Perhaps Nintendo is also trying to promote its games, much like Capcom (see "Capcom Promoting Its Games?" topic). And now I remember the Yoshi doll; it was a trade item.

                        Pirhanas, Goombas were in the side view underground areas. Kirby, yoshi and chain chomps were in 3 quarter view. Also the underwater fish (when diving in cat fish's maw?) were from the mario games I'm pretty sure.
