Cut Down On All Of The Guests a good suggestion

    There is constantly alot of guests just plain viewing the board. I read a topic about people complaining about all of the guests. Just make it so the guests cant view the board. That way, they will have to register to be able to see a thing.

      yes but then how will guests make a choice on whether to join or not, I admit, I was one of those people aswell...I think it should be open for guests otherwise this may deter people away

        That'd be forcing guests to join, and we wouldn't want that now.

          No, I'd really rather not do that. I know from experience that if you are REQUIRED to register to view a forum, most people just move on. Guests are not allowed to post, so I don't see what the trouble is with them just reading things.

            What's the matter with guests?

            If I don't know what a board is like, I wouldn't register in the first place.

            But I don't see why it matters that we have guests viewing...

              Yeah. It's true that if you don't let guests see the board, then they won't be persuaded to join.

                Ok then so I guess most of use agree that guest are cool to stay and watch but not to post. Alright then.....sooo iam wondering if we can put a limit to how many guest can view a topic or even view the board.

                  Why would you like to limit the number of guests? Does it really mean anything? I mean, seriously, is it hurting the board to have guests viewing it?

                    Max makes a good point. I've got nothing against the guest, nor having a big number og guests viewing. But I think it would be better if they registered, but there's no way we can make them do that.
