I think a userbase cleanup is in order.

All accounts created 1 month ago with 0 posts should be deleted, as well as members who have not logged on in the last 3+ months.

    Examples of this are:
jordex (not online since 30th of january, no posts),
Tyreal (no posts, no online since 29th of january) and,
blademan (not online since feb 4th, no posts also).

I think the userbase really needs to be sorted out, there are far too many accounts with no posts, and the users have not been online for months. If this is too much of a hassle, why not ask someone to be a guest Administrator and clean it up?

    So, can/will this be done?

It would give an active estimate of the number of active users.

If there is no way to do this in the ADMINCP then you can use PHPMyAdmin and cleanup the database that way.

Would be a great idea. Though there's already loads of work to do...
It might also speed up the forums a bit, orrect me if I'm wrong though.

I know he already has a LOT to do, but like I said, he could ask someone else (who he trusts obviously) to be a guest admin and do it for him.

Oh wells, but would the forums rn faster if the userbase was cleaned up?

I could easily do this, as IPB has an AdminCP page explicitily for pruning user accounts based on certain criteria. However, having unused users accounts does not really effect forum performance, so I'm a big hesitant to use that as an excuse.

Ah, yes, but it wouldn't it sort of make it look a little, um, fresher? It wouldn't be that noticeable, but it'd be a weight off your shoulders.
I know, I sound cheesy! :joy:

Maybe any accounts created in Jan/Feb/March with <5 posts require deletion.

What are you talking about? YOU don't do the cleanup, Max does.

If you post another non-sensical, spam post, I will have to warn you.

They should really have an (as they call it in Ragnarok Online) account-wipe. It makes things more organized, and it's not THAT hard, even with all of those people. They don't deserve to be in the forums if they don't post!
