I've noticed a lot of people asking why Max doesn't use a certain sprite, and the answer is because that specific sprite never walks/runs in the game. I would just like to point out that every playable sprite runs in the shop when they are selected, so you could use any of those.

anyway, I agree that the sprites should either all be from the first game, or all from the second, for consistancy's sake, even though I don't really care much which set is used, and no one seems to have mentioned the shops, so I thought I would.

    Thanks.

If this is for GSW, then:
I don't recall if the running (shop) sprites run at all angles. You need that for GSW so when you turn, etc you will be visible.

      If this is for skins:
Thanks, maybe Max has more options now.

This will not turn into a topic of "who do you want in GSW, etc."

This probably won't be any help cause Max probably knows this but I'll post it anyway...

If you can get a sprite of the character running left, left-down, or left-up, most photo programs have a flipping option that you could use to get right, right-down, and right-up (Or vice-versa)

Soul Slicer, that's actually how the GS engine works (it only has the directions facing right, and it flips the sprites for left directions), so I'm well aware, but thanks. The problem isn't getting the actual sprites, but finding the time to assemble them into the animated gif.

Ah, well i personally think Felix, Garet, Mia and Sheba should be used, but it doesn't really matter, it's only the icons .

So... GSW is run on an engine, not flash? <_<

Er, an engine is the underlying system that content is put into to create a game. Popular 3d engines for games include the Unreal Engine, the Quake 3 engine, etc. All games use some type of engine to power the game and then put the game's content into that engine to create the final game. With GSW, we have tried to recreate parts of the GS/TLA engine and then added our own content on top of the engine.
