Earlier, when I tried to access this site, it said "403 Forbidden," what does that kind of error message mean?

        We ALL had it, Garet.

        It's probably:

        1. Max's host
        2. Max took some things down for changes
        3. Max is just mean and doesn't want us to view the site anymore.

And no more posts just saying "Yeah, me too". It's useless and considered as spam.

Normally, a 403 error occurs when you try to access a site/directory that has no index/default page (index.htm, index.php, etc) and indexing has been turned off for that directory.

I'm not exactly sure what just happened here, though, so don't ask me.

(Also, a 403 error may occur if you are behind a proxy server blocking that certain site/directory)

Agatio alerted me to this about 3 or 4 minutes before it disappeared, and my host said the server was working fine so it was probably just a fluke. I do not believe any problems occured, it may have simple been the server was overloaded (because many other hosting accounts are run on the same server as GSS's account) and so it was declining to serve information. Regardless, I don't know what happened, and I think we can safely ignore it. Topic closed.
