It's irrational, considering I'm stronger, faster, and bigger than they are, but I can't seem to shake it.

I'm terrified of all bears, primarily the Black bears in Maine and New Hampshire.

As for phobias being irrational, that's somewhat vague. In the case of bears, it could range from being unusually tense near wooded areas to taking a step outside scaring the crap out of you. Just because the threat is real doesn't make it rational.

As for me, I have acrophobia. I have it under control for the most part now, but it was pretty bad when I very young. Back then, I couldn't even go into my elementary school's main gym, because I saw kids climbing the ropes to the ceiling unrestrained and I was afraid I'd have to do that. Now, I just get a little uneasy when I see a high height.

Well I am REALLY affraid of... *sweat drops VERY much* Promise to don't laugh... clowns. I happend when I was little... They asked me to go on the stadium when I visited the circus with my mum. I ran to those clowns and they asked me if I would like a waterbaloon and I said: YAAY! I got it and it and I grabed it SO hard so the baloon colopesed, not a big problem but it was not water what was inside but stinky goopy green stuff that tastes like poo (really it came into my mouth)! I cried at would ran to my mother but I fell from the chairs and a clown laughed at me!! :wub: But I serieus fell hard! I broke my neck almost! I wa only 6 year old I think but since then I don't like clowns and they are creepy! :wacko:

Geeze, wasps are another thing I fear. It's not enough to be a phobia, but it's pretty bad nonetheless.

How did it happen? There was one time when I was about 8 when my family went camping. My dad asked asked me to hold a small slab of bacon over the fire while he went to go to the restroom. Well, there were like 6 wasps buzzing around in a circle around the fire. I never really liked stinging insects to begin with, so I was naturally reluctant, but I never got stung prior to that day. My dad said there was nothing to worry about. Yeah, right. They kept getting closer and closer, and I was getting more and more nervous, until one finally stung me on the neck. Then the rest followed and did the same. I got about 10 stings.

Since then, I've been keeping my distance, regardless of what anyone would tell me. And everytime I'd have to get close to a wasp, I'd try to kill it ASAP, unless I'd miss, in which case I'd run like hell.

Bees never really bothered me, though. I even stepped on a beehive once, and although they started swarming, I didn't get a single sting. And unlike wasps, which make those paper eyesores, bees give us honey and beeswax.

This isnt really a fear, but kind of close to one. Being annoyed nonstop. Happened in a nightmare. Another is that my History Teacher dressed up as a girl with a skirt. Halloween thing. Scary to think that too. And it actually happened.

I totally agree with you, same with my mom. It scares me, she might take away my comp... tomorrow my progress report comes home and i have a C- in history but now its a C+... I forgot to do a take home essay, so i got screwed...

heh, sharks are sooks. I go diving alot, and see heaps of sharks, and let me tell you: They take off immediatley. Maybe because when they see me they think: "Im not taking on anyone as badass as that" and high-tail it out of there. :D

I once came practically face-to-face with a 10 ft shark. And I blinked, and it was gone. Naturally, it scared the hell out of me, but I was scared for no apparent reason, so it seems. :)

Fekijikiro9777, you should be glad that you haven't been working at the place where I worked the last weeks. At least 1-1,5 tons of bananas per day. And I worked there for 2 weeks(We had PRAO=practical work knowledge, in school and for 2 weeks we had to work).


I'm a little afraid of spiders to, but only if they come in amounts of thousands, like in the end of "the hangman's curse". Don't think that'll ever happen.

Falls, I hate falls, big or small, 4 feet is fine, but a 6 foot drop is iffy, and Drop Zone is a nada. But I'm ok with roller coasters...
