I LOOOOOVE DONKEY KONG GAMES!!! They are just like Mario games, so funny and happy!! I love it! Especialy DKC2! That's my favorite!! That graphics... and it's on the SNES... AMASING!!!

And Donkey Konga is one of the most funny games I ever played! Left, right,right CLAP!! *Bounces hyper* I always get TOO hyper when I play it... thats a shame because I do all the wrong things and my bongo's will colopese soon... :lol:

Donkey Konga looks promising, since it's like music game where you try to get a high score by matching the right moves on the screen.

But lately, I've gotten confused on which game is viewed as Donkey Konga; where you use the drums to maneuver DK in his own environment (and for boss battles), or the musical rhythm one. :unsure:

Yeah I loved DK64 the most too! The monkey rap was one os the best things in the game :silence:. It was in SSBM too but they screwed it up I think...

Yeah it does! I like those funny weapons like the Peanut Popguns of Diddy in that game! And the those funny orange granates :( Some say it's kiddy but I don't care! The game is the best ever!!

I never really liked any of the DK games. Maybe its just because I grew up with a PSX, not a nintendo that I don't, or, because Im too old for cartoon monkeys throughing barrels at each other. A friend of mine had it (This was a while age now) I played it a few times, but I thought it was pretty bad. But again, this is just my different preference in games talking.
Give me an RPG or adventure anyday. Keep the primitave platforms away... thats my moto.

Knew that DKC has the best graphics from AAAAALL SNES games? :lol: And barrel-throwing monkeys are fun! I like them all!! THe gameplay is even better than all the MArio games I think and MUCH ppl are agree with me! A RPG is a good game, but for me it don't last long (except Pokemon Ruby but that game NEVER bores IMO) a platform game is always good! And with monkeys rideing on rhino's, drives in minekarts, swimming in deep oceans, defeat many crazy bosses and collecting banana's (YAY banana's are good! Better than cheese!) is FUN!! :idea:

Wow, im back on, and i topic I 100% agree with. Thats pretty cool. Ya, I did not like the remix of the DK rap in SSBM either, they should have just left the whole thing alone. Donkey Konga is the drum beat one, looks kinda like a ripoff of DDR, except only hands are used; the jungle beat one looks pretty good though, I might get that one. DKC1 was an OK game, the second and third were tons of times better, Diddy Kong is the best character ever. DK was boring, but in the TV shows he was pretty cool. TV shows you may ask? A rental store may have em, I forgot the name of em though. They were OK, I guess... Its DK though so it cant be bad.

the DK rap ruined an awsome SSBM stage. I avoid that arena like the plague.

I don't see why you lot love DK64. By the time I reached Fungi Forrest that game had become dreadfully boring. I love the first, second and 3rd areas though (3rd was the factory wasn't it?).
And the bosses in that game owned so much! B).

The DKC games rocked. DKC2 is one of my favourite games of all time. They were definately my favourite series on the SNES.
I wish Nintendo would follow a similar DK style to what Rare did. Instead they insist on returning to the series' puzzle roots >_<. Nintendo, you're slaughtering one of the best platform games ever!

I got Donkey Kong for the SNES years ago when it was first released. The graphics it had were the best of its time. And the gameplay was superb. I remember playing for ages on end, trying to beat this game. I eventually got to the last boss, but I still havn't beaten him. Great game.

Well didn't beat the boss? I'll tell ya how to do! First let him throw is crown at you, then QUICK jump of his head. Do this a couple of times and he faints... But he stands up and is jumping to the other side of the ship. Dodge him and attack him wile he doesn't have his crown on and you'll defeat him.

EDIT: Today I played the game from the start and beat it only with Diddy! I died only 4 times and 3 were on Trick-Trac-Trec! That level is annoying... And I die once in the first level in Chimpy Caverns. The boss is easy. In DKC2 it's harder and in DKC3 even more!

its hard to decide if DKC2 was better than 3. There were some elements in each that surpassed the other. Both were great, but which was greater?

DKC2! That one was the best DKC ever IMO.
I was missing the jungle levels in it.. But it all was fantastic... It could be better, like jungle levels those are my faves.

Which animal buddy do you like the most? I? I like Winky the frog from DKC1! He's so handsome! Much better than that Ratly the snake from DKC2... He keeps on bouncing and he has a scary clown face... Aaaah clowns!! *hides under table*
