Okay. I hate to ruin the "up in the air" but I think if Nintendo would make a Golden Sun 3 it wouldn't be worth their time. I know that Golden Sun 2 made a lot of cash but I think the story ended there. It's pretty obvious but there was a "To be Continued" in Golden Sun and a "The End" in Golden Sun 2. I am patiently awaiting a new RPG for the GC or GBA from Camelot. I think that Nintendo and Camelot will not make a GS3 on any format or console because of many other game ideas that have priorities (New Zelda, etc.) It may come back later but it will not be nearly as effective as GS2.
For example,
When someone asks on these forums, "Will there be a GS3?" Most people will say that it would ruin the whole storyline of the series. This is true.
I'm sorry to break out the bad news, but if you're sitting around on the internet waiting for IGN of Camelot to say "GS3 is COMING!" you're wasting your time.
