Anyways, I'm gonna get this when it comes out, can't wait, going to preorder it tmro. Too bad that MP2:E comes out a day before, so I have to wait till Christmas to get that.

Yeah, the character your using is really just a spirit, who is controlling Kalas. Also, you and Kalas need to create a bit of a bond, to help each other out and such.
The battles arent random either. The monsters walk around, and all you have to do is run into them and fight, etc.
