I don't think GSW needs an opening animation. It's a bit pointless since GSW is really just a chatroom. You don't want an animation playing every time you open MSN do you?

OFF TOPIC: AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! 8-Bit Theater is CLASSIC! But I think they did worse on epispode 4 compared to the other ones...

I think its a great idea, Julian, but won't it take up way more space than usual?
Maybe it should be separate, so that the new people can understand it...

I think an opening animation would be a tad annoying, but it would be excellent if there was a 'help' or 'introduction' button on the sign in screen, which would then open an animated introduction to GSW. It could be quick overview of how to chat, what house is what, etc. And maybe there could be a recording of somebody's monotonous voice <_<, like in most tutorials at the beginning of games.
