Two people are very close friends and are neighbors, but they can only talk on the phone/internet to communicate to eachother why?

I thought of this one off the top of my head so I posted it before I would forget

How did the driver see the cat?

Edit: I just thought of another solution. Or another car is going this way< while he is going this way ^ and he swerves to avoid the car, not knowing he avoided the cat.

This is more of math/logic question, but logic is almost the same thing as a riddle, right?

There are 7 people at a meeting. If everyone at the meeting is to shake hands with every other person only once, how many handshakes would there have been?

here is a riddle that is in my math book that we had to do :P

There is a man, cabbage, sheep, and a wolf, the man is trying to get to the otherside of the river and the boat can only carry him and one other item. But if he leaves the sheep with the wolf the wolf will eat it, and if he leaves the sheep with the cabbage he will eat it, so how does he cross the river with keeping all his animals and food?!

figure out what belongs to who, who lives where, and what color each person house is and what nationality each is and so on...just figure out everything and figure out everything about all 5 people and there house...Good luck ^^
