I'm hoping that the new shopping area down in the district has a card store that I can work at. Maybe if I can hold out until May will I be able to work there (I need to get a car, damnit!).

Also, that was rather off-topic, so I'm not gonna let you go on that. And yes, you should learn some manners, because respect for other members is a large part of it.
Anyway, really, I need to work someplace. My friend tells me to work down at Giant Eagle, but I heard the pay sucks as well.

BTW, Illidan, graphics design doesn't pay. There are just too many graphics designers out there. You'd have to be a top-notch designer to hope to have enough money out of it to call it a career.

Well I'm really interested in graphics design. I'm not in it for the money really, it's just because well... I enjoy doing it. ^_~
I was planning to be a software designer when I grow up, like my mom. o.o

There are no child labor laws here, so I could get a job. Probably working at t3h arcade. I know how to fix their machines. They ask me to regularly, when I'm there. I should make a profit from it.

I do hope that there'll be a card store around when that new mini shopping center is finished down in the school district. Maybe the one from the former Highlands Mall will move down there, so I can apply for a job.

Anyway, I got a new job today, after a couple of months of looking / interviews / applications. It's much better than where I currently work (casual at the local KFC) in terms of working conditions and pay. It's also located in the heart of the city, which makes it pretty easy to get to, and it's close to just about every kind of shop I can imagine.
Anyway, like the title asks, does anyone else here work or have you found something since last time you posted here?

Even though it's still a little over a year or two away for me, I'm deffinately going to try for a job at Starbucks. We've got two in town, and I've always had a nack for makeing good coffe (and it's a lot less embarassing then working at a fast food joint like McDonalds). But if I can't get a job there, I'd probably try for Dairy Queen. It's the least active fast food joint here.

I haven't got a job, nor did I ever try to get one. In Serbia we start working later than you do in America. Technically, I could find a job, such as unloading stuff from trucks and stupid stuff like that, but I don't want to work yet. I want to enjoy my childhood, and school takes up most of my day anyway.

Well, here in the netherlands people usually get their first jobs around the age of 14, walking newspapers and such. Then after that people start working in the malls and other stores and some, at a somewhat later age start doing more serious jobs, like mine.

For me, at least, Different areas higher at different ages for reasons unknown. They could be the same exact store, but higher at different ages at seperate locations in the same county. Really annoying.
I thought about working at a Barnes & Noble (Bookstore for those that don't know), but I was too young. I hate age limitations.

Then become a person who prepares a person for surgery. All you do is inject them with drugs, and talk to the family while they're waiting. Can't remember the name, but it pays like $350,000 a year. The average wage in the U.S. is about $35,000, so you'd be living 10 times better than the average joe.
