its gruesome and disgusting but hilarious, so funny, i like the one where they go bowling and one of them gets the glass stuck in his eye. yucky and inapprioate for under 10, but really funny.

ok guys...in occasion..its quite funny...but most of the time you just wonder why it was made...anyone can make things that violent - it really isnt hard...for example i could suddenly and violently attack WD...and make it just as convincing. It really isnt anything special...occassionally its funny cos its just so random and pointless but thats it..the violence doesnt really do it for me

Anyway, this kind of thing is funny for me. I mean, if you look at Retarded Animal Babies, it's pretty much the same thing in comparison. Don't take it too hard and don't underestimate it's ability to make you laugh.

At my friend's cousin's birthday a couple of years back, I think he's 6 now, an uncle bought him a Happy Tree Friends video. He though it was all cute and stuff and didn't care to read or watch it. He just wrapped it and gave it to the cousin. Once the birthday was over, the cousin wached it and his mom got so mad at the uncle.

It's extremely violent, but tolerable to me for some reason.

6th grade.

Boy those shows seemed funny at the time. Then 7th grade came, we looked back, we saw the new 6th graders watching it, and we realized just how stupid and immature of humor it was. I dunno if it was because we were trying ot be cooler than 6th graders, but in the end, it did us a lot of good to reject that kind of humor. At least I think it did...

No kinds of humor are bad. When you reject a form of humor, you reject a little bit of your ability to enjoy yourself. When you can find humor in all different kinds of things, it just makes life that much easier.

Happy Tree Friends is funny because the humor clashes with the drawing style and the name of the show. Also because it's so very random and unexpected. Just because it's dark (in some ways) or "gross" doesn't mean you should disregard it.

It's understandable that you stoped liking it when you saw the previous grade of children watching it, and you're right - it is a way to separate yourself from them, to say you've moved on, while they're left back. Still, I say you give it (and other things like it) another, earnest, chance.

The awnser is no. No. No. No. There are some kinds of "humor" that are just not funny. Would you honestly enjoy yourself hurting others, if everyone else did? No. When I stopped watching Happy Tree Friends, I not only lost interest in it, I realized the horror of it's so called "humor". I no longer consider HTF to be funny, and I don't think I'll find humor like that funny ever again. Maybe, but probably not.

Bullies, war maniacs and Nazi's find those things funny, you're not either of them so obviously you don't understand their humor, or why they find it funny. Everybody finds different things funny, and there is no such thing as perfect humor.
