Personally, I would want Halo 3 (or 2.5) just so I can get my REAL ending from the Halo series.

To all the people out there that claim to have played through Halo's single player game and hated it, I'd like to point out that the campaign mode isn't Halo's shining feature. Hell, compared to a dinosaur like Half-Life, it's single player is somewhat weak and rather short. What makes Halo shine is its kickass multiplayer.

Plus, Bungie said they're planning on releasing new multiplayer maps for Halo 2 over XB-Live, but they also stated that any new single player maps are almost totally out of the question.

Sadly, XB2 is releasing Halo 2.5, as said on x-box.com
Or, check halo Planet forums at haloplanet.com for confermation
I hope thats all bs, cuz I didnt not just get an xbox for something I could get for xbox 2. I wouldnt mind if this wass released after 3 though. it owuld be like playing MGS 1 then buying MGS TS years after. Its nice to see a remake, but not THIS soon. There MUST BE a 3. It would kill it all if it ended on 2.5.
Halo 2 was fun. Beat legendary at 7 Hours and 46 min. The first time took me a week or or so.
SMG's are for the truely skilled. Though, I might be the only one to know that. Dual weild it with a Plasma Rifle for the ultimate killing combo.
Sniper is the best overall, using it is extremly hard without the zoom though. But, get used to it and your one tough cookie to kill. Beam rifle might work, its harder to use as itss over heat, and is limited in shots. no reload though .A skilled user should be abnle to kill somebody in the body in .23 seconds with dual blasts. Double shoot and you should gain the kill, but overheat is guarrenteed. But what the heck, your suppose to aim for the head anyways.

I'd be willing to bet quite a bit that there will be no Halo 2.5, but rather a novel based on Halo 2, a novel to explain what happens between Halo 2 and 3, followed by Halo 3.

If you consider that, Halo murders PD and pisses on its grave. The multiplayer is just that good.
