MD you can colour pretty well already, a scanner isn't not needed and neither is photoshop, I'm sure Paint.NET would do. You can always lineart with a mouse. And sure I'll teach you.

:) I can tell that you had fun playing with the gradient; nice colors. You're getting better! x) Work on your curves a little, so they don't seem so cluttered/bracket like. You can always try to do quick strokes on a tablet or take your time using the pen tool...or anything else. *doesn't have tablet (anymore)* I like the design of the dress, and the windy-elemental style hair. x)

1) Her eye lines should be black, it looks to light to be fitting for the deep colors it holds.

2) Hands need more work.

3) The nose is too high in my opion but you really need to stare to notice it so I guess it is ok.

4) You can do more shading to the hair.

5) the lips are a little low, remember, the mouth is closer to the nose then the chin, unless you draw someone opening their mouth, or frown, then you can exatrate it as much as you like.

6) The next seems a littl to thick and long, but that is just me. X3

Besides that I like the picture. I may sound harsh, but this is what I expect on my artwork as well, this kind of critz that helps me. So I hope these would help you instead of making you cry... ^^;

Very pretty, however you cay try to work with the lines a little bet more, like smoth it out. If you have Photoshop, you can use the pen tool to ink it. Trust me, it is much better.

My god, Somia. Your artwork is amazing. There is only one liiiiitle tiny thing I would critique on, and that's the eyes. I'm sure the way they're formed is intended, but they seem kinda too spaced away, and the mouth is kinda low. But I like how you did the line for the mouth to give it a glossy look. n.n very kawaii, as usual!

You should do a step-by-step on those eyes, Rio isn't looking too brotherly on my side. D:

Rio has a golden headband, so instead of making it plain cloth, I'm gonna see if I can make it a sort of crown-like thing with those similar cross patterns that are on Ria's clothes.

Anyways, really great work. It does look pretty high-quality for a sketch. The only thing sketch-like I see is one of the eyes, and the staff.

I always draw the eyes with the distance of another eye between them. It's like in real human proportions .x.

Yea, I see it now, but I can't help it sometimes. Because IMO I think if it's just one eye space in between the two eyes, it looks really weird. And... yea, it's weird.

But the spacing on that one might be a bit too much. Anyways I got tons of sketches I need to upload but my internet is being mean. D:

Well the eye as the other pointed out is a bit far apeart. I usually do an eye and a half. ;)

The face is also kinda flat and chubble because of the eyes... the animal on the sholder looks as if he grew out of the armor... Besides that, it is a wonder picture with nice details. :blink:

This next one is a gift art for my science teacher. I doodle in class sometimes, and I sit in the VERY front of her class (which is not a very nice spot D:). Because my grades are acceptable, she allowed me to doodle when she gives us time to do homework, but in exchange, I had to draw her something by the end of the school year. Same goes for the girl that sat next to me. xD I was trying to do something slightly different this time. Did it work? I'll let you be the judge of that. :P

Nice! Well I'll put my 2 cents in. =D

1) It is a very nice clean lineart which I envy, but anatomy needs work. Upper body looks kinda squished and really LONG legs... She looks kinda chubby... no offence. ^^;

2) THIS IS SO BEAUTIFUL THAT I CAN CRY! I love it. However the nose is just a tad bit high, otherwise this is a wonderful picture for your teacher. =D

3) I see no problem in this picture expect for the long legs. This picture is my favorite out of the bunch. <3

4) This one is pretty cute, with the hair and eyes and outfit! However, the arms should be a tad but longer and the face has an extra space... =X

5) This picture, I didn't like it so much because it looks kinda odd. Anatomy issues, but I love the way you colored the red skirt! =D

I hope I didn't over critz this... ^^; I'm sorry if I hurt you with this because I really don't mean to. This is the way which I like to be critz as and I do to others... So yea.
