I would like to take this time to announce that nick1presta has become my new co-admin at the forums. For those who don't know, Nick has been a moderator at the GSS forums since June 2004, and a member since near the beginning of the forums. He has proven himself in my eyes to be a responsible and respected member of the moderator team, and I am grateful for all his dedication over the past 6+ months.
Because I have not been as available the past few months, I feel that Nick's new position will allow the forums to retain a top leadership position and guiding member. This does not mean that I am leaving, instead that we now have another leader and someone to look over and moderate the forums. I ask that you all show Nick the same respect you have shown me over the past 10 months, as his decisions are as final as mine are.
Finally, AveneR has finished his project and so will be able to work with me on GSW again. By the end of the week I will have an estimate of the next release, although I don't think we will meet our December estimate.
UPDATE (12/27): A spell checker has been added to the forums, so please use it before submitting a new post. Now there is almost zero reason for there to be excessive misspellings in a post, so the moderators will crack down on users who continue to do this, with the exception of the spam forum.
