There have been quite a few rumours that have emerged about a new RPG that Camelot is in fact working on for GameCube. There have been hints at this everywhere (I will post a few links in a later post).
Whether or not it is a Golden Sun entry is highly dubious (and doubtful), but it’s bound to uphold some features from both games for GBA. So yeah…

I hope that it will be Golden Sun game for the GCN. IT WOULD RULE! I would definetly get it.

I belive its not golden sun.In my new nintendo power magazine they got a pic or two from the game there talking about I think...And trust me.It was'nt golden sun.

I hope it's Golden Sun for DS but please...make it an RPG, Camelot rocks at RPG's and those Mario Golf and Tennis games are not showing the true potential of Camelot Software.

if it does happen then it better be on gba cos no way i am gonna waste money on the DS but if it does come on the DS i'll download it, if on gamecube i'll borrow my friends gamecube or buy one, but never the DS

Actually you've got a point, I think they just might change the tittle of the GS game and not call is GS3 or something, but still, hopefully there will be another GS game.

Not really. Just because the Golden Sun came up once doesn't mean it can't happen again. Also they could make new characters which could change the game completely. I do agree with you on what that quote means. Most likely this is a completely new game and has nothing to do with the GS story plot.

Yea but the hobbit then lord of the rings.The hobbit was just explaining the how the ring came to bilbo and that, where as you can't say that gs was explaining the origin and power of the golden sun. you wouldn't understand much playing the lost age then goldensun. where alot of people read lotr then the hobbit, or not the hobbit at all.
gs3, it is a bit unlikely, i think game boy's a bit done for. but gs3, i reckon it should take place maybe years later when the orignal characters are dead and someone has some evil goal because of years of spite or something.

I just hope it's an RPG. Golden Sun was amazing! The graphics were simple, but at the same time, fantastic! I think Camelot is one of the better software companies out there to create Nintendo Games. Right up there with Retro Studios. *drool* Metroid Prime 2 *drool*

well it would be risky for them to go for something other then golden sun but at the same time i guess they're gonna have to at some point - i would like to see another GS but i'll happily wait for any other game they produce to come along

Yes there has been word of a new Golden Sun game for the Game Cube. It wont be released until late 2005 to 2006 which is a mighty long time IF they decide to create it. It's definitely a possibility that they will. They're planning on the idea currently. Though nobody knows if it will be a continuation from the last GS game GS:TLA or a remake of the whole saga. I'm betting my dollars that it'll be a whole new different story though. It'll be a waste if it was a remake.
Hopefully they will aprove and start getting to work. I'm definitely looking forward for it.
