Guess what? I got Kotor2 on christmas, and beat it in three days! The plot is MUCH darker than the first game. I loved it. It was not as difficult as the first one though, but, it was definately longer than the first one. So, have you gotten it yet?

I was thinking of getting this, but being the single player game that it is, im worried about replay value.
After you beat it once, how many more times can you play through without repeating the storyline?

UH... too bad it's not like Morrowind. You can do ANYTHING in that game, and it never ends!!! If KOTOR2 was like Morrowind, I bet alot of people would get it.
And, if it were also like Halo. Except, you gain players on your team, from around the world, online, and get them to help you on your journey. That would be awsome.

Well, I'll tell you the main one.
You are an exiled Jedi Knight, exiled because you disobeyed the council's orders not to go to the Mandilorian wars, following Jedi's Revan, and Malak. Years after, you, and a small crew are onboard the Ebon Hawk, clinging to your life, after nearly losing it in a horrible, and devastating space battle.
Light: Mainly, you just want to find out why the Jedi exiled you from the Jedi order, and what they did to your conection to the Force.
Dark: You are filled with hatred for the Jedi, and the Sith, and you just want Revenge against the Jedi who exield you,a nd possibly severed your connection to the force.

The final boss is , who guessed it? Kriea, the jedi who was the master to the person in kotor2 who you play as. That may have sounded off, but I'll just say that Kriea, an old bat, one of your former team members, is a sith, and you gotta fight her at the end. The end of the game, you go off in serach of Revan. and yeah, it is that different.

Have they changed the battle system in this game, because in the first game, it was alot slower when you try to attack an enemy.

Do the different colors of lightsabers, mean that there are new types of classes (by classes I mean: Jedi knight, etc.)

I have KOTOR and have completed it on both Lightside & Darkside. I havn't bought KOTORII yet but I heard that it's not as good as the first. The battle system that was considered great also put me off, the dice system was just annoying.

I've got both games and finished them. KOTOR II I thought was better cause had a deeper background story and you get to turn your teammates into Jedi :unsure:
KOTOR has a really long beginning and it kind of bored me cause you didn't get your lightsaber till ages...
And the Influence part is good to... you get to know the background of the characters when you get further in the game and have a high enough influence with....
One big bummer with KOTOR is that on the PC Dantooine kept on shocking and the images went blurry... so I had to buy the Xbox game to be able to play it well
So now I've got two KOTOR II 's :silence:
