Even though some found Advance Tour as crappy as can be, according to IGN, the game itself won and award for Best Graphics and Best Sports Game. I reviewed the titles that were chosen for 2004, and they all seemed kind of like crap to me (except this, Kingdom Hearts, and Metroid: Zero Mission). Maybe I'd get a chance to buy this, since I did enjoy the ROM a bit more than I expected. Best of all, it has many traits from Golden Sun in it.

you know theres something wrong with the world when a mario based sports game wins best game on a format -_-
even if it does share characteristics with Golden Sun. Thinking about it though...how many decent games actually WERE released last year on a Nintendo console?
Oh and i'd probably go with the Minish cap...the only one i played that was released last year

Well, I do realize something ...
Just because the title and look of a game sounds as bad as everyone thinks it is, in reality, not many people play these games, and are missing out on something worthwhile. Like the award for Kim Possible 2 ... *shudders*
But anyway, in my opinion, Advance Tour was worthwhile. The RPG golf aspect was complex, yet a great idea.

Wow, most of those games I never tried! They sound promising, those award-winning games! I'll say, Advanced Tour won it all!
