Well, since the DS has 3d technology, I think a lot more games are going to move onto it. What game series do you think will make it to the Nintendo DS?

I think a lot more mario games will move there and Final Fantasy...that's all that comes to mind now.

I think it will be a sad day when all games are 3D. I personally love sidescrolling 2D platformers, and top view 2D adventures like Zelda. When they all become first person 3D (which no doubt will eventually happen), it will be a sad day.

I agree with what Agatio said. 3-D is nice, but I can't just put aside great 2-D games like Minish Cap and Fire Emblem.

Ah well, it's a little hard to say which games will come to the DS other than what has already been rumored and confirmed (e.g. Pokemon Diamond and Pearl, Animal Crossing DS, etc.)

Ya, 2-D is cool, it's like "old" and it looks awesome because it is not the best...
Ya pokemon games are also going to get to the DS.

heh, thats why Japan has Goemon, all of his games are 2d side scrolling platformers, no matter if the models used are 3d or 2d. It's a great game series.

i really hope it does get many new rpgs!! Nintendo never seem to have all that mnay that are any good, and so i sincerely hope a few high profiles ones make it^^

Final Fantasy orininally came out on Nintendo. Then went to PS. Cool huh? Now we have the most kick ass series in the world on our platform.

I hope FF doesnt go back to nintendo. :) That would totally suck.

And some 2D games absolutley HAMMER 3D games.

I do. :) Meh, I think the way the DS is makes RPGs more convenient to do than on the PSP. Heck, they could probably make a Neverwinter Nights for the DS because the touch screen makes it like a touch monitor on a computer.

There's a new FF: Crystal Chronicles game coming out for the DS as far as i'm aware. There just has to be a Fire Emblem DS! It would be stupid not to have one. I'm getting a DS next wednesday for my birthday, all this waiting so I hope it's worth it!

I'm looking forward to the new Castlevania coming to the DS.

RPGs would be a sure hit for the DS, as you can have your menus on the touch-screen, how bloody cool! And during battles (ONLY traditional RPG turn-based battles, mind you! I goddamn hate this wave of action-style battles or FFX-2 style) you could do everything with the touch-screen. *Drools*

I agree 100%. More than half the people who say the touch screen sucks have probably never even tried it. :)

I've played my friends DS, I like the touch screen. Without it Wario Ware DS Touched wouldn't exist! It's also good for picto chat.

Go Fire emblem also any final Fantasy game that works it's way in to the DS will be a hit. Though I think the FF games might move on to the PSP, who knows. Anyways with the new Fire emblem game coming out I might want to get my hands on it since I have never played a FE game yet.

I have. Meh, FE's alright but I guess it just isn't my thing. Perhaps I'll rent it first.
