I recently rediscovered this game. I picked it up and now am at the metal-head nest, and i need some tips on how to get through. Does anyone have any tips or tricks for making it to the nest, and inside? Thanks in advance to all who post here.

Thanks DX7, i'll give you a more detalied description of where i am.

I just put the precursor stone in the really big gun, and destroyed the barrier, now i need to fight my way in.

I recently just beat this game, and the metal head nest is really hard. The best weapon to use is the PeaceMaker ( but use it wisely) and the second weapon to use is the Vulcan Fury. Avoid the Really big Metal Head Elephant things, because they can easily kill you.

Thank you guys, but i just stomped the metal head leader.

I used the blaster, and the peacemaker only got one use my entire game, Krew.
He was easy, no Dark Jak even needed.

I just got the invisibility power from the volcano and went back to the monk temple.

sniper cannons?

ill assume ur talking about the guns that keep pooping out....

get out the gun that is mid range and has a wide range of fire.
(the red gun...not the upgraded one...just the normal one)

while your on this mission some spider bot things will try to attack you so just blast em if you see em....
try finding some strange circles on the ground....
they are actually buttons and if you press them all then all the gun things will explode...

(most destructive weapon... 3rd upgrade of peace-maker)
(most prefered weapon... reflexor)
(most unused weapon.... second upgrade of red gun)
(best use of weapon (that i used) get second upgrade of blue gun and runs in a small circle while fireing it frying everything around you)(if done correcly :D )
(creepiest place... monk temple)
(most preffered car... giga crusher (thats what its called right?))
(most prefered character... Jak Duh!)
(most preffered cheat... invulnrebilaty... or unlimited dark and light eco)
(most prefered gun coarse... reflexor gun coarse)
(most preffered villian... Errol)
(most funniest moment... what the precursers really look like... lol... its funny)

I dont know why, but I didnt enjoy Jak III nearly as much as Jak II

Both part 1, 2 and are perfect. Probably one of the best games for Ps2 (after Pro6)... Though I have to say, it would certainly add something if there were multiple difficulty options, because IMO jak 3 was a bit too easy.
