On another note, the Metroid series, for me, would follow Legend of Zelda, then followed by the amazing Super Mario 64... that game redefined the platforming genre as we know it.

That game THRULY never bores! ....Okay it does... But only when you play it FAR to much.

SSBM is my fav (in this poll atleast) cuz of the gameplay. Yeah what sounds betetr then: fight with you favorite ninty char and beat others up. And the style of thje fights is cool to. I mean... Kick others of of the screen :wacko: ... There not to many characters. But mostly of em are well known *coughmarthandroycoughyouNOTcough* *coughneitheryoucoughnesscough*. THe game is a bit lame cuz there are clone characters. Yeah but it's still good. ;)

I was stuck between Halo and Metroid.
I love Halo more than anything, but Metroid just takes the cake. Since Metroid, M:ZM, M2, SM, MP, MP2, MF, and now M: H, I love the series.

7 10 and 10-2 and 11 are all fantastic games, and yet you count crystal chronicales as a final fantasy? Sqaure Enix didn't even make it, if your counting that then why not Kingdrom Hearts?

Diddy, as i mentioned. CC wasn't made by Sqaure enix. Who made all the ff games except that one. CC just stole the name. And the first few final fantasys are nothing but ordainary.

Play 8,10,10-2 and so on. 8 and 10 are the best ff on the market.

I was told that FF8 was the worst one in the series by a number of people. I mean i played it and didnt think much of it but its the only FF ive ever played so i cant rate it against the others. I just hated random battles in FF. People have to realise that the whole thing just isnt that great..unless they got significantly better after 8..

Random battles are the most common battlestyle in rpgs tho. I hate games where you walk up and fight, its ***.

And 8 is better then 10 and believe me, I LOVED 10. 9 is the worst in my opinion.

There is no better game. They're all just that good in my opinion. Of course, there are and will be some really sucky choices, but, again, for example, if you compared Halo 2 with Final Fantasy X-2, there would be a major difference, since FFX-2 is a RPG, and Halo 2 is a FPS. It would only depend on whom plays either one. Simple as that.

... But, onto the subject, I'd have to say that the Zelda series had some really unique and awesome games.

Halo(the shooter award)
Final Fantasy(RPG award)
Prince of Persia series(adventure/action award)
Madden 2005/NHL 2005/ESPN 2005/(best sports games)
Super Smash Bros Melee/Dead or Alive ultimate(Best fighting game award)

....and thats about it.
