What Are Your Other Favorite/best Rpgs? This includes any RPG on any other syst.

Besides Golden Sun, I would pick Legend Of Legaia for The Playsation 1. It was of course, in 3D, but it was extremely fun. In fact, Legend Of Legaia, for me, is slightly better than Golden Sun. What are your other favorite/best RPGS?

I'd have to say (obviously) Yakusoku no Chi Riviera; also known as Riviera: The Promised Land. You can find more details about it just by following the link from my signature. :)

Other than that, I admit the Pokémon franchise has gotten to me quite a few times ...

I would have to say Tales of Symphonia and Paper Mario 2 since those are the only RPG I have. I think Halo 2 counts as one and so does Sword of Mana but there more adventure/first person shooter games. Tales of Symphonia is a great game that I always keep playing when I am bored. I just love the story plot.

The best RPGs for me are: Pokémon Ruby, Maple Story and EarthBound. I like Pokémon Ruby the most of them because you can play it with your friends and stuff...

Halo 2 is definately not an RPG. It has a storyline like one, but it isn't. Echo_djinn just threw you off.

Mine's either...Fire Emblem for the GBA or TOS for GCN.

I'd have to say TOS more though, great graphics and AWESOME plot.

Well im going to be loyal and go with Golden Sun as i havent played any better ones...unless you count Zelda (which is kinda an rpg) in which case im going to go with OoT.

Final Fantasy. Nothing can beat a 10+ game series with original stories, characters ect for each title. Not to mention an easy 100+ hours of game play per title as well.

Breath of Fire, Final Fantasy, Knights of the Old Republic, Jade Empire, Fable, Phantasy Star would be the series' I am interested in other than GS.

Mario and Luigi: Superstar saga was great! The plot was extremly funny and the battle system was good.

.Hack for ps2. It's great. A simulated mmorpg that sends people into coma.

Other is the zelda series, OOT the best.

Besides them, Azure dreams for ps. Not that good but fun.

I think that Final Fantasy, R.O.S.E (online game, if you can count it as an R.P.G. and Earthbound are my favorites.

I think Maple Story deserves a place in my favorites rpgs list! So addictive! Not to mention the ownage of the warrior.

there isn't a single MMoRpg who comes even close... and if I have to name another MMoRpg which comes a bit close, it's gotta be Lineage II

FFX is one of my favorites. Fable was fun... while it lasted. Also ToS and SoAL were good.

FFX was fun, I Liked FF7 and FF8 better though. FFX-2 Was like playing Dress-Up, ha, Didn't like it. Reminded me of Charle's Angels.

Paper Mario 1 and 2, Halo 1 and 2, Tales of Symphonia and FFX were the games I liked to play. Though I only got to play FFX for one day since my friend took it back.

The Lufia games are good, they look a lot like the golden sun games although they older ecspecially the fighting menu if u paste them next to each other and play them you would hardly see a diffrence.

The first lufia games were for the SNES Lufia I & II
Then there came the first gameboy colour game: Lufia the Legend returns
And the latest Lufia game is the Lufia: Ruins of Lore for the GBA

The first are the most similiar to Golden Sun after that it went a diffrent way with the whole game.

But there are big diffrences between the two games cause golden sun is much more puzzles then lufia which is just plain fighting and stuff and because of that the Golden Sun games are still and probally for a long while gonna stay my favorite :silence:

KOTOR games are fun 2 BTW :silence:
as are the Final Fantasy games although X-2 was dissapointing...
And Zelda is always fun for some time to be wasted to something else but homework :unsure:

Final Fantasy of course, Zelda too. Less obvious ones include Disgaea:Hour of Darkness, Tales of Symphona, Star Ocean series, Suikoden 1+2, these are the ones i can remember
