You can create a topic in the general discussion forum if you would like to show people or submit your map. I would suggest asking for opinions and then revise/improve it until the final deadline.

Like Max said, post your maps here and discuss other maps here.

This is a map I made, I don't know if I'm going to use it for the contest.

Don't blame yourself. Blame the map editing utility. Not enough tiles are included to make a perfect level. I also think this is a very good level you've made... considering how hard it is to use the editor.

Thanks, I read the readme and your posts though.
But now I have another problem.
When I try to save this message comes up: "A script in this movie is causing Macromedia Flash Player 7 to run slowly. If it continues to run, your computer may become unresponsive. Do you want to abort the script?" If I click yes the program crashes and I can't click. If I click no, I can continue working but when I try to save it the message comes up again...
What do I have to do?

I made this map, but when I tried to save it the error came up again :)
If this ones better then the other, I'll bother to make it again...
So you'll have to choose

tad small, could use some path ways too. Other than that, looks good.

Here's mine so far. I'm still throwing around layout ideas, and working out what combinations of trees and objects look the cleanest . There might be some issues with pathing as well, so i might move objects around to try and prevent that.

Thats really cool Neon!! It looks like it could have come straight out of the game. Keep working on it though as stuff like this can always be improved.

                    Very good though.

                        14 doors!
This should leave a lot of room for expansion and whatnot for a whole lot of places to meet and talk. Most of this level will be indoor, though there will be a lot of places to go outdoors(as in thats how you get between rooms).

Hey, that maps kinda nifty :D (you actually followed through our cliff idea, good work!). I like the outdoor inn :).

Also, it's better to just put the doors over cliff tiles. It looks more realistic.

type the name of your map then put .xml at the end of it. then click open.

nonono, you need to download the latest shockwave/flash something for free. It doesn't recognize it...unless...its not an swf...and instead its an exe...and you have a mac. Then you need to ask Max for a Mac version.

Um, I mean the editor itself. Not the map. I can't get a map without the editor.

nonono, you need to download the latest shockwave/flash something for free. It doesn't recognize it...unless...its not an swf...and instead its an exe...and you have a mac. Then you need to ask Max for a Mac version.

and I still have your awnser. UNLESS, you haven't unzipped it. Then you need Winzip, or if it says your not allowed to(IE, a school computer) then you need to right click, open with "zipped folder" to view the exe.

Also, neon, I get the same thing, and I figured out a way around it! Every time it comes up, click No, not the X, but No, and do that until the Txt comes up. Sometimes the Error Window pops up multiple times, but after a while the Txt comes up...

yeah, I discovered that the second time it happened. I didn't actually read the text properly the first time and hit yes

How do I get the "zipped folder" option? It isn't there...

i'm not entirely sure what you mean...

If you're trying to unzip a folder, Windows has a program to unzip things for you. You just rioght click on the folder and then 'extract all'

if you simply cannot run the program. You need a flash plugin on your comp. You should have one, but if you don't, macromedia's website will likely have it :).
