How come I joined before some people in this forum and they became mods?

Well, becoming a mod doesn't have anything to do with how long you've been a member at GSSF. It depends on your attitude on the forums, etc.

Well i'm the "youngest" mod on the team as far as time spent here is concerned and ive been here about 4 months. Nick did explain how they choose mods in the topic where the new team was announced.

Ok I looked at the moderating team think and noticed a new admin named Ivan.
He has one post. How do you know his personality if he is a new member?

He isnt a "new admin" He's been part of this longer than you've been here. His site was merged with gss (i believe - something along those lines anyway) and the reason he only has one post is because he cant get a connection as he lives somewhere quite remote. Im pretty sure Max knows him quite well.

I am not aware of the details, but Ivan and Max are the "founders", so to speak, of the forums and GSS [after a merging]. If I recall, Ivan moved to Kenya, from Australia, where there is a lack of internet access.

But again, Ivan established all this. Sorry about the lack of detail, but perhaps Max or Nick themselves may tell you.

Ivan was the original founder of Isaac's Revenge, the parent site of Golden Sun Syndicate, all the way back in December 2001. He "hired" my to be his co-webmaster, and I eventually took over the site when he had to move to Kenya. Since then, he hasn't had internet access except for one small stretch of about 2 weeks, which is when he became an admin here.
