hey google has so much freee stuff now, Photo editors/organizers, browse your desktop for files with keywords, or browse google quick and easy...

the search engine searches google and pops it into a small window in the corner of your screen its kinda cool actually:P

and also if you have G-mail you can turn your gmail space into a virtual drive that shows up in My Computer

I'll ignore the fact that those pictures shift the forum tables and ask how do you setup gmail as a remote drive in My Computer?

all you have to do is go here http://www.viksoe.dk/code/gmail.htm

but make sure when you extract you extract to a permanent file, if you move these files the drive wont work aka reinstall it.

google is a great search engine, though the new MSN search gives it a run for its money.

For those of you that use Firefox, there is a neato extension that puts a thumbnail preview of each site next to its link in a search result.

I've found that BetterSearch works much better than Google Preview and it supports multiple sites. But that's just my opinion.

There's a better one called BetterSearch. It does the same thing, but works for more search engines. You can find it on Extensionsmirror.nl, in case anyone's wondering. *Edit: Seems Toad beat me to it.*

Anyway, Google has some nice features beyond it's apps and user-hacks. It can give you the weather (type in: weather city, state; example). It can search for specific files. You can make it search specific websites. Etc, etc, etc. There's a whole book written about it.

And just when the threat (or should I say blessing?) of a new browser war looms over the horizon there have been numerous rumors that Google's planning on releasing a new browser and possibly even a new OS. To counter, MS is divorcing IE from Windows (finally!) and developing a sophisticated natural-language search engine.

I've been using all those for 4 months now.

Who? Me? I knew about Google's stuff for a long time. The only thing I learned recently was the weather trick.
