Metal Gear Solid 3 is amazing though, it's the closest game to Metal Gear Solid (PS1) out of any of the other Metal Gears.
Also there's so many twists and twirls in the plot, and so many secrets that are discovered everytime a new game is released.
By the way just incase nobody already knows, Metal Gear Solid 4 is already in development.

Also Mr. Kojima won't be directing MGS4 like he did with the previous titles. Instead he has gotten a new person to make the game, he will be second in command though, but the other guy will be the director. Kojima says when the game comes out on the next gen consoles, he wants it to be totally fresh which is why he is not directing it.

But Raiden was meant to APPEAL to girls. Snake was too boyish. The game only appealed to Male audiences. Kojima made Raiden to appeal to all audiences which is why Raiden doesn't look too much like a guy or like a girl.
I agree though, to sum it up, Raiden was a reaaal big f**k up. :)

A couple of points:
How does a girlish guy appeal to chicks?
Why would Kojima want a game like Metal gear to appeal to chicks anyway? It's guy stuff. (Generally)
heh, I liked how Emma thought Raiden was *** though. That was friggen hilarious.

I heard (saw on the special features disk that came with SoL) the Kojima thought of snake as "Godzilla" and raiden as "King kong"
Simply put, snake is a professional at his job, as was godzilla; and raiden was brought in from an outside environment and made to fit in.
Okay, those werent his words, but its the gist of it.
And to make something appeal to a female target audience, you really shouldn't have a male dominated cast, and you DEFINETLY shouldn't have the majority of the chicks DIE. (Emma, Fortune and Olga + others that I have forgotten.)

Oh, I think Olga does die btw ... or does she? I really can't remember that well. The end of SoL confused me somewhat. It all seemed too fantastical for the ending to an espionage game. o.o;;; Oh, but the part when the Colonel goes all weird was hilarious, and actually had me worried that my game was screwing up at first. :P

You know what the best thing is? Shooting a Nikita and trying to direct it back into the barrel of the launcher.

Snake is in disguise and Volgin grabs his balls and Snake pulls his hand off, and Volgin says "Hm?! You're not Colonel Raikov! Imposter!". XD
Also Mewt I believe you will really enjoy MGS3, the storyline is one of the best yet, same goes for gameplay and the characters.
You will be shocked at how perverted Snake has become though, he stares at womens breasts every chance he gets. :D

Who remembers that trick on MGS (PS1) where if you keep travelling back and forth from the vent before getting to Meryls cell, you can see her doing pushups while only wearing a Bra and Panties! =D
Oh and the one where if you keep calling Mei Ling to save she pulls out her tounge! =P

on Guilty spark if u go above the level u can find a person standing there, then keep going before the indoor structure run down and u will see only guns firing and no men <<

Oh yeah who remembers the world-famous "slap a C4 on a guards back" move! :D
That was CLASSIC! Slap it on their back, wait for him to walk next to his friend and BOOOOOOOM! Smoked Genome Soldier, anyone? :P
EDIT: Ooops, just noticed MR already stated this one. :D

It's a nice touch but nothing too amazing. But you do need to get MGS3, it's the closest game to MGS out of the series. :P

I do NOT live on a farm by the way.
And you do know it's before the events of Shadow Moses don't you? *Ofcourse you do*. Just sometimes, it seems like you think its after the times of Sons of liberty.

In Metal Gear Solid & Metal Gear Solid 2 you don't play as Big Boss, you play as his clone. That is why on Metal Gear Solid Liquid tells you that you are the sons of Big Boss, you're noy his sons, your his clones.

Oh well. Next Week!!!

*plays on Tenchu WOH for practise*
Luckily, I'm very good at running away if guards see me in the MGS games. I once got Snake to run straight through a riot-shield! Impressive, no? :P
My friend told me about when you eat certain things in MGS3 and Snake says "Umm, tasty." I really want to hear that! XD
I also spoke to my uncle recently and he's on the top 100 list of people who've completed MGS2 or something. He completed it on European Extreme level in 4 hours. Whereas I completed it on Normal in about 2 weeks. =S It obviously does not run in the family to be good at MGS.

Of course I missed quite alot of camo's and wepaons, like I said, first time playing though.
Tenchu games are cool but they suck now, just incase you don't know the team who made Tenchu havn't been making the game since Tenchu1. The rest of the Tenchu series lacks quality, but don't worry, the developers of Tenchu have seperated to make a game that will hopefully beat the monster they created, and personally from the previews their Ninja game is looking kickass! :P

What makes this worse: I bought FFXI instead of MGS3 and I cant play FFXI because I can't pay the monthly fee yet. ha ha. I suck.
I AM NOT A FARMER!!! I live in a town, not a farm. And the closest I've been to a cow is when I drink a chocalate milk. lol

Anyway, Anubis, you'll like this, but you probably already know about it:
In SoL, when Raiden is ordered to find Ames, you can get a pic of some chick's underwear. Pretty crude, but like I said, you'll enjoy it. lol

I have this awesome pic of metal gear ray. Mouth opened, leaning over one leg. *sigh* I love taking photo's of half nak---er--- metal gear's and stuff.

Here's a really gross glitch:
On MGS1 (PSX) when Meryl knocks out the guard in the cells and you see him naked on the ground knocked out, his ass is censored, but if you crouch down right behind him and zoom in maximum with your scope you can get passed the censor >.<

I have this awesome shot of a guard in mid flight. *sigh* So much fun. I reckon having that camera in your inventory adds about 5 hours worth of playtime onto the game. lol
As for the second part of your post Anubis. That's just yick. Im not even gonna try that.
*runs and put's MGS on*
I'll er... be back later.

It took you that long on Very Easy?! I completed the game my first time round on Hard mode in 09 hours 37 minutes. Obviously though I missed many of the camo's and weapons since it was my first time playing.

MGS3 is actually the easiest MGS game in the series technically. It's much more easy aquiring the Big Boss rank when completing the game for some reason.

I finally have it. I got up to the sorrow, and uh... yeah. I only just worked out you can use the revival pill to revive yourself when he/ that skeleton thingy pwns you.
It took me three fustrating walks through that river, but it DID finally dawn on me. lol
I love that zombie facepaint. It DOES look cool.
I loath The fear. But I want his invisibleness.
That chick watches to many movies. WAY to many
EZ gun? Pffft. I love that thing. Only because it's easier to aim than the others. lol
The End was easy. It took me 10 mins max to beat him. Man tha dead fat guy can run though... heh, I did manage to hold him up (accidently) but I didn't get the moss. Next time...
Speaking og hold ups; is it harder tham MGS2, or is it just my crappy stealthfullness?
I love this game. So much to talk about.
I ate a cobra :D
See?

Even worse, I ate a crocodile that morning for breakfast too, and for desert I had a rabbit.

Oh look. EVA.
Question: Do you get to keep the fork in a playthrough game?
and there's no nkita's? Pfft. So they havent being invented yet, so what. i want remote controlled missiles in the 60's dammit. That'll show'em
The shagohod is a peice of trash. It's nothin'g compared to ray. (yes, Im aware of the 40 year gap)
Anyway, enough dribble;
You know what really sparks my attention in Snake eater? It's the fact that Kojima has taken a real life event(s) and has added a twist of reality to them to make the game unrealistic, yet realistic enough to make it real. Whoa; confusing.
A guy who can control bee's, an ex-astronaut/pyromaniac hell bent on playing with fire, a DEAD sniper, a freak that can jump from tree to tree and STILL not ever fall down and People defecting left right and center makes for a great game people. Don't deny it.

Bah, maybe they do have Nikita but we havn't found it yet. There's alot of weapons in that game you gotta find, you can check an FAQ but I personally have chosen not to read FAQ's.

I finished it today (I havent been playing it much). The ending is THE best ending for a videogame I have ever seen. EVER.
I got Jaguar as my rank. Pretty bad if you ask me. lol
Anyway, im going to go play through again. Try and get the Moss camo. Not to mention the stealth... *shivers*

I still am dubious about playing MGS3 ... it looks all scary and open and much more male-orientated than the previous titles ... someone showed me the special sequence with Eva and the transmitter ... *shudder*

Things about Ocelot....
He's a pansy that everyone makes piss
He's good at that gun twirling... thing
You can always rest assured that he will turn up when you least expect it.
Instead of SAA's, he should of chosen "Minigun". (But that would put Raven outta buisness I guess)
I love his hnd questure thingo (kinda like a shrug, but cooler)
I hate his Meow. It's ***. Full Stop.
------------------- Ocelot is awesome and totally badass though---
Final Fantasy Solid. Yes. Me and my Super-awesome Ti-83 programing abilies should put it on the big screen. Yes, I can see it now....
*Pressing buttons frantically*
How do you turn this thing on?
