Well, Enoch has a very good point. I don't meet anyone I talk with online and I never give out my real name. It doesn't take much to find a person. While it doesn't mean getting found would automatically lead to rape and murder (even though it does happen), it could cause a load of problems.

Besides, a friend is someone you can trust, openly talk to, and expect to be there when you need him/her most. Simple text messages cannot equal that.

So, to sum it up, y'all sound like good people, but I have no way of really trusting any one of you.

What gimli did was sorta on the other end of the spectrum from what I do. He simply considers all of you his freinds as to wich I merely consider all of you aquaintances. I don't nessesarily want to be on anyone's list.(as I explained earlier). What annoys me is how some people take it to heart though.
