What would you think of having more out of game stuff to buy(nonGS stuff) like, for example, a gameboy or a walkman, so you can play your fav. minigame where ever, or listen to whatever music you want to.

The idea of playing your own music would be easy to put in, they just need to have any music put in it. Then, when you download it, you take the music out of that folder, and put in an .mp3 file.

we could even have a poll. For each server test, we vote which song we would like to have as the Jukebox song the most out of the 5 or so songs Max chooses.

Hm, a jukebox is an interesting idea. We could probably have it so that it would play mp3 files in a certain folder on your harddrive, but I don't think we could make it so everyone hears the same song at the same time.

Not much else of a universal place to put it. Then again, I never really use that folder, so maybe you could have a folder that you got when you downloaded GSW and just put music into that.

A jukebox sounds like a pretty nice idea. After all, the GS music is really great, like Isaac's Battle Theme and the Aqua Rock Theme. Having everyone hear the same song would really make it a jukebox...

wow... this is a great idea! especially the jukebox. Even if GSW would take a bit longer if it were to be implemented (not that Max said anything about that, though), I think it would be worth it, especially if it was the soundtrack from GS and TLA.

I was meaning it would play GS music. If we wanted our own music we just play it ourselves ^_^.
Basically, someone slects a GS theme, then everyone in the room hears it.

I guess you could include the music files in with GSW, then the server tells it what one to play.
Having them stream would reduce download time innicially, but it would prove to be a problem for 56k people, like me :\.
And it would make the bandwidth usage skyrocket >_<.

The mods might need a way to ban people from the jukebox though. I can see it becoming very annoying very quickly if people keep changing it ever 3 seconds.

Well, it could be set to play all the way through all the songs and then repeat itself, and you could put in a request, and at the end of one song, with a 1/x chance of getting your song played(x being how many requests were made durring the song), a requested song would be chosen(randomly) and played. Also, you could only make one request between songs.

I guess that would work. It might be better if it just queued peoples requests, and played them all in order.
And if someone makes a new request, it cancels there old one and adds them on the end of the list. or they can't make a request until their last one is played.

And maybe a limit to how many requests of the same song there can be. Andf the some song can't be played more than once in a row.
