    The title of the forum says all... (Sorry, I'm too lazy...)

      <embed src="yourmusicfile.mid" autostart="true" loop="true"
      width="2" height="0">
      </embed>
      <noembed>
      <bgsound src="yourmusicfile.mid" loop="infinite">
      </noembed>

      It's bloody annoying though, it's a put off to your forum, and good luck keeping visitors when you have background music.

      Oh , and next time: http://www.****inggoogleit.com/

        Just so you know, that doesn't work in Opera/FF. It only works in IE.

        Using <embed> works in all three.

          That code never fails. I got it from a site that says the:

          "<noembed>
          <bgsound src="yourmusicfile.mid" loop="infinite">
          </noembed>"

          Will work only in some browsers, and putting the <noembed> tags stops IE from recognising it. Either way, the code I supplied works in all browsers.

            I wasn't aware of the <noembed> tag, all I know is that the "<bgsound src="yourmusicfile.mid" loop="infinite">" tag by itself will not work in Opera/FF.

              noembed is like noframes or noscript.

              It will display/print something only when the user has embeds/frames or scripts disabled, or does not have a browser compatible with that tag.

                  That's a page that's been up for a long time I think...Agatio certainly did not create it. That would just be weird.

                  If you have a host or get a host that supports server side languages (PHP, Perl/CGI, other types of features), I believe there are ways to do a 'Radio' script. This way, people have the option of playing the music, as well as not hearing it continuously loop 7 billion times :P

                  Try a place like hotscripts.com (?address?) or, as Agatio so eloquently put it, (#& Google it :)
