Straight to the point

1)Disk Failure on my main comp and needs to be sent to a lab to recover data, virus on this laptop but has been fixed, but...

2)Laptop has been rid of any IM service, and I am NOT going to download until I have more anti virus software...this has cost my dad alot, I'm not going to add to it because it is unfair.

3)Also I have work to finish over the next two weeks but then I have revision and blah blah blah

I'm sure you guys won't miss me but I'll be back when all of this chaos has been fixed (the whole thing is depressing me, woohoo =) ). You may see me on MSN whenever I'm over at friends but don't count on it.

With that, I bid you guys adieu and...don't demolish this place whilst I'm away, okay?

good luck with your comp, same thing happened to me last september. make sure you get some quailty software this time.

I was wondering why you were never on.... o_O
I hope you get a good antivirus program.... and a similar thing happened (about the hard disk) to my mom's computer once. Believe this or not, putting the hard disk in the freezer for 4-5 hours greatly increases the chance of recovering some data, and possibly getting it fully operational again. It's a wierd, but true fact that my mom comfirmed true (she first read about it in a magazine) and she was able to recover a good amount of the data.
