Well, I think I've been using GMail for well over a month again, and yet my "invites" feature still isn't available...is there a way you can get them yourself?

      You'll eventually get it.
It took mine a couple months to come for some reason.

To invite or not to invite? That is the question that plauges my mind.

I'll tell you what. I'll invite you to the wonderful world of Gmail if you can answer this very simple question:

What is the meaning of life?

            Have fun.

              7. A spiritual state regarded as a transcending of corporeal death.
              8. An account of a person's life; a biography.

              11.

                Wrong.
None of those are the meaning of life.

The true meaning of life is to give me a cookie
And preferably some milk with it as well.
                ----

Anyway, how does Gmail/google/whatever justify have a 2gig+ inbox? There must be 100's of thoasands that have gmail access now. So, there must be ****loads of space, somewhere being used up... :P

                Right?

The thing is most, if not all, are only using around 0%-2% of their given space, so it's no skin of google's nose. That, and they probably have like a bazillion servers 0.o.

Yes, while it looks like we have "reserved space" (2GB) for each user, the average person uses less than 5% of their inbox space, so google is fine.

Actually, Google only has two servers, they have one in Calgary, and one in New York.

But ofcourse. I didn't think of that.
                          I haven't even broken 1% yet. lol

However, on the other hand, each user is allocated 2gigs+, and they don't use it?
                          What a waste...

It's a ploy to bring in Gmail users. eg.
"OMG GMAIL GIVES YOU STAX OF SPAYC!!!11ONE"
And sooner or later they will realise they don't use it.

                              I need a good e-mail provider.

Like I said: hotmail for MSN. My old hotmail is like an abandoned mineshaft: Noone goes there, and those who do so, die.

NOTE: My old hotmail gets all my passwords sent to it. Hack into it and become ME. Until I invert your memory capacity. :P

And, I just got my G-Mail invites. Problem solved

Personally, I think GMail account space should be more like 1GB; After all, 1GB is a ton of mail storage anyway, more than enough for me, but maybe its different for people who use e-mail for thier work alot.
