Does anyone know of a good free imaging program that will work on a fairly low-end Win98SE computer? I'm getting sick of being limited to mspaint.

Also, does anyone know a good free GIF animator on top of that?

Animation Shop is a good gif editor.
I don't know about anything for free that doesn't use a large amount of system resources, sorry.

GIMP, but I'm not sure of its requirements.

Well, resources aren't a big deal. Although my computer is pretty old now, anything that requires a good amount of resources I can usually make work. I will keep those in mind, though.
